ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
I am pleased to specially acknowledge the fine efforts of Samantha Lee and Ido Harlev, seniors at NVRHS in Demarest NJ, a top performing public high school. I arranged with publisher support for these exceptionally capable high school students to review a significant portion of the 1000 or so mathematics practice problems in this print/online publication.
Samantha Lee and Ido Harlev were selected because of truly remarkable Mathematics SAT scores and class performance. They worked diligently and cooperatively on a summer project to help you. Their contributions certainly will. Samantha and Ido support your preparation efforts and wish you every success!

Conquering SAT Math, Fourth Edition, covers all the mathematics topics and all the problem types on the new version of the SAT, the SAT you will take. Every page in this book was field tested by high school students and reviewed by experienced high school math teachers and test prep experts.
We listened very carefully to student and teacher recommendations to create a book that will work for you. You learn mathematics by doing mathematics. That is why we designed this book and its online resources to have 1000 solved SAT math problems. We review each of the major areas on the SAT in 26 separate chapters. Each chapter begins with a clear review and practice with answers. Next come several worked-out SAT problems to show you how to apply the mathematics concepts to the SAT format.
Then comes a whole set of practice SAT problems in each chapter, with explained answers. The online resources provide over 300 topic based solved SAT problems and over 250 solved problems in SAT test format. We show you strategies for answering SAT multiple-choice and grid in math questions. However, the most important strategy is to think mathematically, just like the people who make up the test do. These test writers always have particular mathematics skills and concepts in mind as they write an item. Knowing how to spot those concepts is usually the secret to getting a high score.
