Introduction: Do You Feel Like Yourself?
Today, otherwise healthy women are exhausted. They are asked to do more with less, to give more than they have, and to create more than is actually required. Between whats expected of them and what they expect of themselves, the twenty-four hours of each day are simply not enough. And at the end of the day, theres very little available to help them recharge.
Slowing down is not an option for most of us. So what is?
As a gynecologist specializing in optimizing nutrition and hormonal health, I regularly see both stay-at-home moms and women who run media empires, and they describe similar symptoms of exhaustion. No matter how they spend their days, the experiences and feelings women report are the same: their bodies and minds are constantly on overdrive. They are overwhelmed.
It doesnt have to be this way.
MEET THE NATURAL SUPERWOMAN
With more than thirty years experience in a medical practice focusing on womens health, I believe that by simply paying attention to four basic principles, or four pillars, any womanno matter how busy she is or how much money she has in her bank accountcan arm herself with what she requires to manage the expectations, obligations, and commitments that fill her days and nights. These four pillars include:
the nutrition pillar (proper diet and supplements, where desired)
the activity maintenance pillar (work, exercise, sex, and hobbies)

I believe that by simply fueling their bodies and minds with the principles of these four pillars, women can take control of their own well-being and become the best versions of themselves, by maximizing and exceeding the genetic predisposition they started life with.

In my Beverly Hills, California-based practice, I teach my patients how to focus on these four areas of their livesdiet, hormones, mental well-being, and activity maintenance. These are tools that allow them to become the best version of themselves, allowing them to achieve their goals, while finally having the ability to take a breath and enjoy the real gifts of their livestheir families, jobs, friends, and personal time.

Do More with Less
In order to operate at peak performance, any machine, animal, or process must first address the basic requirements for running glitch free, which means a process runs more efficiently, because any process is slowed down or requires repeating in order to correct the mistakes caused by glitches. Running more efficiently means you are able to do more with less. Multinational corporations expend enormous energy and resources to insure their systems and staff members operate with fewer glitches and do more with less. Thinking about your own life and the way youve spent the last seven days, how much time have you devoted to increasing your ability to do more with less?
