Bees buzz in flowers
Birds sing in trees

Deer browse our forests
In twos and threes.

Clouds bring the rain
In winter, the snow

Snowflakes spin magic
Wherever they go.

In no other place
Is life so diverse;

The wonder of it all
Cant fit in a verse.

Deserts seem endless
Oceans so vast.

But we cant take for granted
That all this will last.

To preserve what is here,
We must care for this place

Spinning so grandly,
Hurtling through space.

We must pick up our messes.
Clean up our trash.

Or all of Earths beauty
Could be gone in a flash.

Clean air, clean water
Is what we all need;

Both can be lost
Through carelessness and greed.

For us to eat well
Clean soil is a must.

Food must be healthy,
Food we can trust.

And somehowsomehow
We must all get along,

For each of us here
Is where we belong.

No one is better
No one is best.

Each of us matters
None more than the rest.

So cherish this planet
So fragile and fair,

Theres no place quite like it
Nowherenowhere.

Step out at daybreak
Slip out at night.

Look all around you;
Its such a fine sight.

Notice the weather
Gaze up at the sky.

Its all so amazing;
Your heart will soar high!

Promise the planet
While breathing her air,

To protect and preserve her,
To always be there

To speak for whats right
And change what is wrong

Stand up for the planet,
Sing the Earths song.

Theres so much to say,
So much more to report;

Each moment is precious
Our time here so short.

This Earth that we love
Is worth any fuss.

For all that we find here
Was given to us.

Those who come after
Depend on our care;
