Introduction
When Stephanie was a little girl, she dreamed of starting her own family with a young daughter just like her But when she entered junior high school, those dreams gave way to others. Stephanie began thinking about becoming a photographer She made up her mind to get a college degree and put off her plans for a family until she was older
That all changed, however, when Stephanie became pregnant shortly after her sixteenth birthday. Stephanie had been dating Joshua, an older boy at her high school, for a few months when they decided to have sex. They must consider the changes a baby will bring, including the way it will affect their plans for school, a career, and relationships.
This book contains information that teens need to know from the very beginning about pregnancy. You will learn how women become pregnant, what happens during pregnancy, and how to care for yourself if you decide to continue your pregnancy.
Teen pregnancies often occur because teens don't know the facts about sex, contraception, and their
