Whats the best thing about being in 1D?

Being with four friends all of the time, going to cool places, meeting lots of nice people and having a laugh constantly. Even if were really tired, were still having a good time.

Whats the secret of your success?

I think people see us as down to earth. We dont try to act like big pop stars. Were attainable and were friendly. None of us have changed, and I honestly dont think we will.

Whats been your craziest celebrity moment?

Probably meeting Michelle Obama. She was so nice and cool, and her kids were comfortable with talking to people they dont know. They were amazing. America was incredible in general. Its crazy to be recognized everywhere, but we loved it.

Do you have any other celebrity numbers on your cell phone?

I have some people Im friends with, but if I say who they are Ill sound like Im showing off! Weve met a lot of people since weve been in the band, but were still friends with all the people we were friends with before too.

When did you last cry? Why?

It was on a plane when I was watching a film and I was so embarrassed I was trying to hide my face so no one else could see me. Im too ashamed to say what the film was because it shouldnt even have made me cry. It wasnt even that sad. I was just very tired and emotional because wed been traveling for about 30 hours straight and I was a bit all over the place.

Do you have time for dating?

I do, but its hard because were traveling so much. I guess you can always make time for things you want to do.

What are the most important qualities in a potential girlfriend?

The most important thing for me is being able to get on with a girl easily. Theres nothing better than being totally comfortable with someone and chatting for ages with no awkwardness. Its great when you can spend hours with someone and feel so content that you dont even have to talk that much if you dont want to. And a sense of humor is so important too. I like being able to laugh with someone and its great when you find the same things funny and you get each other.

Where do you want to be five years from now?

Doing exactly the same thing, please. I still want to be hanging out with the boys and traveling the world and having hits. I cant imagine anything I would rather do than this.
