Mania - A gay erotic adventure with a manic twist that stings. Life can be so wonderful when seen through the eyes of a young man on the verge of a manic episode. Chapter
Chirp! Chirp! Chirp!
Bloody birds!
Theres a nest at the top of the drainpipe right outside ourbedroom window. Its the crack of dawn and the birds are making ahell of a racket as the proud feathered parents set about thebusiness of feeding their greedy hatchlings.
I shouldnt complain I was awake anyway when the chorusstarted. I usually am at the moment. Apparently thats not a goodsign and I should be increasing the dosage of my medication. Butsod that for a game of soldiers! Life can be boring enough as it iswithout spending it comatose, drugged up to the eyeballs so youdont upset the majority with your anti-social behaviour thosesanctimonious bastards who deem themselves the normal people, andin whose ranks thankfully Im not included.
I glance over at the clock. Its only just gone six. Too earlyto wake Mitch up and ask if he fancies a shag. I certainly do. Iseem to be permanently randy at the moment - another bad sign, orso Barry, my care worker, tells me. But thats a huge great pile ofcamel dung if you ask me. How can it be bad to be randy all thetime? Some old blokes pay good money for drugs so they can get itup, and Im supposed to take drugs to keep my cock under control. The pharmaceutical companies are having a laugh it doesnt matterwho you are or what youre about, theres always something that youhave to be on to keep their share price up.
Chirp! Chirp! Chirp!
Little buggers! Theyre driving me insane.
Oops! Now theres a word we shouldnt use in this politicallycorrect household. But some bastards use it behind my back, of thatI can assure you. I know what they say when Ive excused myselffrom the interminably boring conversation when Mitch is hosting oneof his dinner parties. I could be a steak on the plate somethingto stick the knife into; or a bottle that is corked something toturn the nose up at. They havent the balls to say it direct to myface, but I know what theyre all thinking and what they bitchabout when Im not around.
Cunts! Liberal shit-brained two faced cunts!
Mitch isnt one of them though hes far too nice to saysomething scathing like that. Hes a saint is my boyfriend, anabsolute angel. What the fuck hes doing with me, I have no idea, but thats modern love for you... At least he says that he lovesme. And I say it back to keep him happy. But its an alien conceptto me is love. Whereas lust! Now lust I understand.
I am in lust with you, Mitch, I want to shout out. Wake upyou lazy sod so I can shove my cock up your arse and show you howmuch I lust you!
I look at him. Hes out for the count. Beats me how he cansleep through all this noise, but it doesnt seem to disturb him. Iwish it would though. Then we could spend the next hour messing upthe bed with some filthy early morning sex. No chance though Mitch isnt big on early morning sex, and hes fast asleep anyway. His eyeballs are dancing under his lids REM that is, so hesprobably dreaming. I wonder what off. Is it me? If thats the casethen its a nightmare hes having and I would do him a favour bywaking him up. But its more likely to be something nice hesdreaming of, like winning that tennis tournament hes entered. Whendoes that happen? This weekend I think. Not that I care Icertainly wont be going to watch him. I hate the bloody sport andthe tosspots that play it.
Chirp! Chirp! Chirp!
Christ! Can they not shut up? What is it with birds and allthe constant blabber? Feed me! Feed me! Feed me! Give the worm tome and not my ugly brother! Selfish little buggers!
Woof! Woof!
Oh for fucks sake! Now that bloody dog across the road is atit. Rover hes called. Can you credit it? Rover! How mind-numbinglyoriginal is that!
But what about this... why isnt Rover a cat? That would bebetter than being a bloody dog. Cats dont make much noise, apartfrom the occasional purr and meow. And theyre good at climbing andlike to eat birds so if Rover was a cat it could do us all afavour.
Maybe we should get one a cat not a dog. It could sort outthe birds but then it would wind up Rover, because cats are evillike that. Whats worse Chirp! Chirp!Chirp! or Woof!Woof! ?
Can you believe Im actually asking that?
Im bored, thats what it is! Im quite thirsty as well. A cupof tea would be nice. I could get up and make one, but I cant bearsed. So I lie here under the duvet and look at my saintlyboyfriend, whilst outside suburbia slowly wakes up to the sound ofchirping birds and a barking dog called Rover.
Hes nice is Mitch easy on the eye, Ill give him that. Imvery lucky to have him at least thats what Im told. Hes a bitof a catch for someone like me, with his looks and his job and thishouse that he owns. Hes faithful as well, or so he has me believe- a loyal mutt like that bloody dog over the road, although Mitchdoesnt bark anywhere near as loud.
Im not very faithful its my libido you see. I dont tellMitch that I screw around behind his back, although hed probablyunderstand, what with it being part of my condition which lets meget away with a multitude of sins. And hes SO, SO, veryunderstanding of it all - it drives me up the wall howunderstanding he can be. I wish he could just let loose, instead ofbeing so in control monitoring, watching, looking for a sign, ready to deal with another episode if it smacks him in theface.
Chirp! Chirp! Chirp!
Theyre seriously getting on my tits now! I can tell that Imriled, so I try to calm down by looking at Mitch, and thinking howlucky I am. But it doesnt work, for hes pissing me off as well.Hes fast asleep and I want him to wake up. Why cant he hear thosebloody birds? I want to shake him violently and force him tolisten. I want to whip the duvet off, jump on top of him and stuffthe boner that Im sporting right up his arse. I want to shag himsenseless and make him scream! I want to savage his neck, bite himas I fuck him, and mark that perfect skin with an embarrassinghickey that he has to take to work. I want to wrap my hands aroundhis throat and force the life out of his sickeningly perfectbody.
Oh fuck!
Calm! Calm! Calm! Must be calm!
I turn away, fighting with myself, battling with theself-hatred that threatens to consume me. Maybe I do need to up themedication. Ill give Barry a call later on and talk some of thisover.
Lord! What a busy morning its going to be, what withimportant calls to make, and Mitchs dad coming round.
