ONE Zac Power was doing homework. He had a maths test coming up. He was bored.

Zac was 12 years old. He was a spy. He worked for GIB. They sent him on secret missions. They also sent Zac to Spy Camp. This was where he learnt new skills, like how to crack codes.

Every GIB spy had a code name. Zacs was Agent Rock Star. Hey, Zac, called his brother Leon from outside. Mum wants us to take the bins out. OK, said Zac. The bins were a bit smelly.

But at least he got a break from homework. Zac went outside. Leon? he called. There was no answer. Stop hiding, said Zac. He looked around.

Leon was missing. So was one of the bins! Zac looked at the other bin. There was a GIB logo on the side. Zac opened the lid. There was a seat and a TV screen inside. The screen had a message on it.

JUMP INSIDE. YOURE
GOING TO SPY CAMP! Zac climbed inside the bin. It wasnt smelly at all. He closed the lid and the bin drove off down the driveway. CHAPTER
TWO Zac raced to Spy Camp inside the wheelie bin. He watched TV the whole way there.

Suddenly the bin stopped. Zac lifted the lid. He was at Spy Camp. Spy Camp was a big silver dome. Zac went to the front desk. He picked up his Info-Disk.

It had Zacs Spy Camp information on it. Zac pulled out his SpyPad. It was a minicomputer and a phone. He used it to play games and music too. Zac put the Info-Disk into his SpyPad, but it got jammed. Hand it over, said a voice behind Zac. Hand it over, said a voice behind Zac.

It was Leon. There you are, Leon, said Zac. Leon took Zacs SpyPad and fiddled with it. He was awesome at fixing things. His code name was Agent Tech Head. There you go, said Leon.

The SpyPad beeped. Zac looked at the SpyPad screen. A message popped up. TOP SECRET

END Hey, were training buddies! said Zac. I know, laughed Leon. I picked up my Info-Disk a few minutes ago.

Lets find our gear. There were doors all around the edge of the Spy Camp dome. The doors led to rooms. This was where Spy Camp training gear and vehicles were stored. Zac spotted the Maps and Mazes door. They ran over and scanned their SpyPads over the lock.

The door opened. There was a four-wheel drive inside. It had a huge compass on the roof. Zac went over to a shelf. There were two pairs of gumboots there. They had air vents on the soles and a button near the top.

Those are WOW Boots, said Leon. It stands for Walk On Water. Cool, said Zac. Leon and Zac put on their WOW boots. Then they jumped into the four-wheel drive. This is a Street Scout, said Leon.

It has the best GPS ever.You can control it with your mind. Ill show you. There was a tiny microchip on the steering wheel. Leon picked it up. He stuck it on the back of Zacs neck. OK, said Leon.

Now think about driving to the Sea Base. Zac closed his eyes and thought. Suddenly, the control panel flashed. TRAVEL TO
GIB SEA BASE
TIME: 54 MINUTES The Street Scout took off. CHAPTER
THREE Zac and Leon zoomed along the street. Did you tell Mum we were at Spy Camp? asked Zac.

Yeah, said Leon. She said she hopes we get lots of Spy Ladder points. Spies got points for missions and Spy Camp tests. The spies with the most points went on top of the Spy Ladder. This week Zac was number one. Zac and Leon drove to a seaside town. Zac and Leon drove to a seaside town.

Zac saw the Sea Base up ahead. It was on a cliff. They drove inside and the Street Scout stopped. The Sea Base had lots of old buildings. There was an agent waiting for them. It was Agent Compass.
