ADVANCE PRAISE FOR
WAKE ME UP!
This true story of a lovelost to violence proves that love is never lost, and that lifecontinues past the point we refer to as death. Lyn discovers thetruth of Chips survival on the other side and takes us along onher journey of awakening. The story is riveting. I found itimpossible to put down. Lyn came through the disbelief and grief ofhaving the love of her life snatched from her and has written thestory of her transformation to assist others going through similarcircumstances. She shows courage and strength on everypage.
Linda Moore, Author of Memories ofMagdalene
Lyn writes a story thatis both heartbreakingly sad and beautifully validating. What Iloved about reading her book is that it came from her ownexperiencesit validated things I experienced since my husbandsdeath. I have read many books about the Afterlife, but this is thefirst one where I truly felt validated. Not only was it her truth,it was mine too. I completely identified with Wake Me Up!
Lynda Matthews, Authorof A Breath Away
Wake Me Up! is one of the mostriveting accounts of Afterlife communication ever written. As anIntuitive and Medium, I receive messages and signs from crossedover spirits dailybut this is stunning. It kept me on the edge ofmy seat. You will cry, laugh and have your heart filled with thewonder and enchantment of life on the other side.

Chapter One
THE CAUSE OF THEPAIN
JANUARY 23, 2008
I would have neverthought it. Not in a million years. To wake up to the sound oflove, only to experience unspeakable tragedy minutes later it wasclearly a day that would change our lives forever.
At 4:33 a.m. my phone rang. Startled, I shotout of bed. I was always up by four oclock, but today, I was late. The phone was sitting on a table across the room. I ran over topick it up and then answered, sweetly.
Good morning, my sweetie pie.
Good morning, baby doll, my lover said, enthusiastically.
I adored our early morning calls; my dailydose of love.
While I pretended to be up a few minutesprior to him calling, I moved through the house to let the fur-kidsout to potty. I walked outside, watched our dogs do their duties, and while my sweetheart talked about the night before, I marchedback inside.
Chip was sharing how bad he felt. Because ofhis irritating cough, he said he wasnt able to get much sleep.Meanwhile, I brought down one of our new cups he insisted we buyfor Christmas. I placed it on the counter next to the coffee pot, turned it on and waited for the brewing to end.
We were both fighting a terrible cold. Chiphad an early day at work planned. Yesterday, we decided to takesome time off to play. I would leave work at noon, meet him athome, wed hop in the new car we bought last week, and go for aride.
Thatll make us feel better, he said. Buttoday, he doesnt sound so good. In fact, he sounded horrible.
Youre probably not going to feel likegoing later, are you? I asked him. I thought he might say no, so Iwas surprised when he replied, Lets wait to see how I feel whenthat time gets here, okay?
