Introduction

Until one has loved an animal, a part ofones soul remains unawakened. ~Anatole France

P eople often ask if our departedanimals know where we are or if they can find us if we move. Theanswer is, yes, to both. Just like our human loved ones who havepassed, our pets in spirit know all, see all, and hear all. Theyare always with us, but now theyre in a different formtheirspirit body.

For many of us, our petsare our children and have become a very important part of ourfamilies. They ask for nothing from us, yet they somehow present uswith a type of love that can only be described as unconditional .

From the perspective of a pet parent, losinga beloved companion is no different than losing a human child. Insome instances, it can be even more difficult because the guardianis the primary caregiver and a pet child relies solely upon themfor everything it needs.

Added to that, our society doesnt recognizepets as equals to human children. Therefore, the loss of a pet willnot be treated with the same kind of compassion or empathy as ahuman loss. The grief cycle begins with very little help fromfamily or friends.

When our pets transition tothe other side, they are linked to us through the love that weshare with them. Love is a very powerful energy that bonds humans and animals.Whether our pets are here on earth or in another dimension,the energy of love cannot be broken. Ever.

What signs can I look forfrom my deceased pet? This is a questionmany of us ask ourselves. Much like the communications we receivefrom loved ones who have passed, our pets too, can connect with usthrough signs and messages.

Our animals will connect in many of the sameways they did while they were in their physical bodiesthroughdreams, signs, symbols, and physical or non-physical touch. Theirdesire to communicate with us is no different from that of ourhuman loved ones on the other side.

Our pets, and loved ones, really do want usto know they are okay, safe, and happy. Without question, they wantus to know how much we are loved from the afterworld.

The most important key to receiving andacknowledging a gift from your pet in spirit is to have an openmind and a very open heart. There are no rules when it comes towhat signs are shared from the other side. If you can think it, socan they. If you can imagine it, so can they. Our fur-kids areuninhibited by a physical body and can be in many places at thesame time. A part of them is always with us and can see everythingwe do, and hear everything we say.

As they watch us grow in our spiritualenlightenment and see us learning more about their new life on theother side, they are all too happy to help us to identify theirgifts from the afterworld. For exampleif theyre sitting besideyou when you discover that the butterfly symbolizes their newtransition, they may very well send one to cross your path the nexttime you are paying attention.

If we get excited aboutstudying their new language, (signs and messages-- aka Spirit Language ), theyare over-the-moon thrilled, too. This process is recognized as agraduation. They teach from the other side, and we learn from theearthly plane.

Since we are human, oftentimes all we wantis that one big sign that slaps us in the face. That one hugemessage that says, Hey, Im right here. However, when we think wedont get it, we tend to believe our pets and loved ones have leftus for good. That is so far from the truth.

As with any relationship we share here onearth, it also takes great effort and dedication to continue ourconnections with our pets in spirit. They cant possibly do all ofthe work, and frankly, were kidding ourselves if we think theyshould.

It takestwo Spirit and You .

Retraining our minds requires effort and alot of practice, but it can pay us back with priceless dividends.If youve never experienced the wonder and the mystery of receivingmiraculous signs and signals from the spiritual realm, pleaseconsider giving it a try. All you need is a heightened sense ofawareness and an increased consciousness.

Messages from your belovedcompanions can potentially be life changing when they areidentified. Most often, they are subtle signs, but even theslightest ones are communications that can speak the loudest. Anysign or signal from the spiritual realm is an important one and each has a veryspecific purpose designated for the individual recipient.

Sometimes the signs appear to comfort us intimes of sadness and deep grief. In other circumstances, they areguideposts or traffic lights to direct us along our life path.Either way, it is our divine right to accept the gifts from ourspirit family and this does include our adoring pets, too.

It truly is a skill that any of us candevelop.

It does not require us to be psychic or tohave mediumistic abilities, although we were all born with thesevery gifts. All we need is a bit of faith and a lot of trust in ourmuch-loved pets. We already love them completely, so trusting themin their pure unadulterated spirit form should be effortless.

So what signs do we look for? The best wayto notice them is to become aware that they exist. It certainlycant hurt to observe the small wonders that are happening aroundyou every day. For example, on your drive to work one day you see araccoon on the side of the road. Did you know a raccoon can delivera spiritual message?

The Raccoon reminds us tolook at the whole picture. The seen and the unseen. Not only that, if that raccoon grabbed yourattention from out of nowhere, this could be a sign from your petin heaven saying, Its me, Im right here with you.

Because symbolic signs areunique and very individual, they may not always be easilyrecognized or immediately understood. From birds, animals, people,places, things, or events, symbolic signs are presented in many forms and are quitesimply, the messenger; the messenger ofspirit .
