Chau Quong Ho changed his name to Sebastian Shaw in honor of his hero, British actor Sebastian Lewis Shaw, who played Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

Shaw attended the Mount Angel, Oregon, Catholic church as a boy. He would soon take on devilish ways, however.

Donna Ferguson was only eighteen years old when Shaw picked her out of a grocery store line and decided to rape and kill her.

In late July, 1992, Shaw forced his way at gunpoint into the mobile home shared by Todd Rudiger and Donna Ferguson.

Shaw tied up both Rudiger and Ferguson with telephone extension cords. Then he proceeded to rape Donna Ferguson.

Todd Rudigers hands were tied behind his back, and he could not help Donna during the sexual assault.

Todd suffered an epileptic episode during the assault and fell on the bedroom floor beneath some blankets.

Detectives arrived on scene two days later to discover the bodies of Todd Rudiger and Donna Ferguson. Both had died from severe wounds to their necks.

Only later would detectives discover that the murder of Jay Rickbeil in 1991 had been perpetrated by the same person who murdered Rudiger and Ferguson in 1992.

After murdering Rickbeil, Shaw washed up in Rickbiels bathroom sink. Shaw, however, left some of his victims blood in the sink.

Shaw also splattered some of Rickbeils blood onto a toilet paper roll.

Detectives didnt know it at the time, but a bloody piece of tissue left in the toilet would be incredibly important in solving the murder years later. On it was a mixture of Rickbeils and Shaws blood.

In August 1994, Sebastian Shaw was arrested in this car. The car had been stolen from San Ramon, California, not far from where Jenny Lin was murdered.

A Portland police officer listed all the items found in the stolen car, including a copy of The Anarchist Cookbook , which gave tips on how to make bombs and kill people.

Two stolen rifles were also found in the car. The guns owner, who lived in San Ramon, California, recognized them as his.

Ammo for a handgun found in the stolen car would later match ammo found in Shaws apartment. The ammo was significant because Shaw would use that same caliber handgun while tying up a young woman and raping her.

Duct tape was discovered among the items in the stolen car. Shaw liked to use duct tape on his female victims.

Other items in the stolen car trunk included a hammer, a ski mask, and a sock filled with a lead weight to make it into a weapon.

Officer Terry Long of the Portland Police Department later described many of the items in the stolen car as a rape/murder kit.

While Sebastian Shaw looked at all the items in the trunk of the stolen car, a police officer snapped his photo.
