This is your realization,
Reality realizing itself in this lie;
a lie of separation, a lie of oneness.
Whatever you realize, whatever you experience, is a lie.
You are the liar, the absolute liar
whos lying to himself in his infinite realization.
Who else can lie himself so perfectly and believe in himself?
Only you.

KARL RENZ

That which is not expressed by speech,
But that by which speech is expressed:
Know that to be Absolute, not what people here adore.

That which is not thought by the mind,
But that by which the mind thinks:
Know that to be Absolute, not what people here adore.

That which is not seen by the eye,
But that by which the eye sees:
Know that to be Absolute, not what people here adore.

That which is not heard by the ear,
But that by which the ear hears:
Know that to be Absolute, not what people here adore.

That which is not breathed by the breath,
but that by which the breath breaths:
Know that to be Absolute, not what people here adore.

CHAPTER ONE
The One Who Says He Knows Reality, Should Burn In Hell Forever

Picture 9

Q: When you talk about the seven levels

K: Different ways of experiencing yourself.

Q: You say there is no hierarchy between them?

K: In concepts yes, but in reality no. From a phantom point of view, for sure there are levels. As higher you get, as higher he gets.

Q: Do these seven levels include the fantasy world?

K: Its all fantasy!

Q: I mean what we normally call fantasy

K: What is normal and what is not?

Q: When you are day dreaming, projecting

K: When you watch television, when you read books. [Laughter] You are now talking about the first level of relative experiences and stories and fantasies. All of this belongs to the first level, imagine!

Q: The intellect in its highest and purest level

K: Is still the first level. In the second level, there is already no separation and there is no one who makes any separation between high and low. High and low and all the polarities are still the first level, if we talk about hierarchy at all. When we talk about the first, we talk about the differences of better and not so good and high and low and all of that. All of that belongs to the first.

Q: Having a fantasy is still intellectual?

K: Yes.

Q: That is not a very good scheme of understanding things

K: In the first level, there is no understanding at all. Theres only ignorance.

Q: You cant say every understanding is ignorance

K: Of course I can say that. Watch me! [Laughter]

Q: Are you saying wanking is same as meeting the capital?

K: As you say. One is a higher fuck and other one is the lower fuck. [Laughter] The higher dick needs a dictionary and the lower dick does not need any dictionary.

Q: Its simply absurd

K: All of that is in the same level.

Q: So what about the other six fucking levels?

K: In the other six, there is no fucking. There are no two.

Q: If there are no two, why do you need six levels?

K: Dont ask me; ask God why he wants to fuck himself in seven different ways. But the first level is only one where he experiences the fucking. The rest is not even fun.

Q: Dreams are also in the first level?

K: All in the first level. Whatever we can talk about, what we can name, what we can frame is all in the first.

Q: Its like there are seven compartments and you crush everything in the first and then you have six empty compartments

K: Wherever there are things, forms and concepts are only in the first. Adyashanti talks about the no-thing, thats the second level. When we talk about things, we talk about the first and no-thing would be the second - the form and the formless. But we can talk about the second level only in the first level. When you are in the second, you dont talk anymore.

Q: What about the other five?

K: Imagine! The third is the pure awareness - pure light, nothing happens in it; not even nothing happens in that. The first is happening, the second is non-happening, the third is neither happening nor not-happening. Then even that what is beyond, the absolute. The first three are presence states - presence of happening, presence of non-happening and the presence of neither. Then comes the absence of all of that. Thats called the Christ-state - Initiation of the one who is beyond. After that are the five, six and seven [states].

In all mysticism they have these seven levels. The first three are personal, the fourth is beyond and the five, six and seven are impersonal. The one who claims a difference between the first and the second (state) is still a personal claim. Even the awareness that is different from first and second level is personal. Thats personal samadhi.

Then the impersonal starts. The last four are impersonal samadhis. From the fourth state, no one comes back because there is no one. You can only shift as a person only in the first three. And only in the first three, there is an awareness master, the oneness master and there are disciples in the first. Thats the realm of master-disciple. Now you are established in the first. Then theres one who is established in the second - oneness. Then theres one who is established in the awareness. These are the differences that you can reach as a phantom because only a phantom needs to be established. In the fourth, there is no way of establishing anyone. And the same for five, six and seven because they are just results of the fourth state - no one wakes up in waking up. Then the last three states are - no one is one in oneness and no one is aware in awareness and no one is separate in separation.
