Almost all the books on the planet on the subject of ascension are written about planetary ascension. However, because of the extraordinary times in which we now live, in terms of Earths history, there is a new opening and potentiality to also begin ones cosmic ascension process.
This has never before been available. It must be understood, as Vywamus has said, that in completing our planetary ascension, we are no more than one-tenth of the way up a ten-inch ruler in terms of our cosmic ascension process. This includes most of the ascended masters. We on Earth who are working to complete our seven levels of initation must remember that there are 352 levels of initiation to return to the godhead, or Father-Mother God, at the top of creation. Most of the ascended masters of the entire spiritual hierarchy are not beyond the twelfth initiation. This is not a criticism, just a simple statement of fact.
The question is, What lies beyond the next nine-tenths of the ruler, and how do we achieve our cosmic ascension as well as our planetary ascension (which is no small feat in and of itself)? It is for this purpose that the author was guided to write this book.
Dr. Joshua David Stone (December 1953 August 2005) was an American author, teacher and spokesperson for the ascension movement.
He worked very closely with his wife, Terri Sue Stone, who is a claraudient voice channel for the ascended masters, most specifically for the Ascended Master Djwhal Khul of Alice A. Bailey fame.
In the 1990s, Dr. Stone initiated the Wesak celebrations at Mount Shasta, California, which are annual spiritual gatherings that spawned a lot of interest and controversy in the New Age movement. The last Wesak celebration hosted by Dr. Stone at Mount Shasta took place in 2004. The Wesak celebrations in Mount Shasta are still carried on today.
Dr. Joshua David Stone was a recipient of a PhD in transpersonal psychology and was the author of a fifteen-volume Ascension Series of books, all of which are published by Light Technology Publishing.

Since writing my book Beyond Ascension , I have received a great deal more clarification and refinement in my understanding of the process of cosmic ascension. With the utmost of love do I welcome you to the pages of this book of wisdom revealed. The first glimpse of the cosmos I wish to give you is the knowledge of the advancement of planet Earth herself, which allows for the connection between you who dwell upon her soil and that of one such as myself, the Logos Universal, to join in holy communion one with the other. This is a blessing for us both, for it means life is evolving as it should and each of you are stepping ever more fully into your divine heritage as cocreators with God. Welcome to these words, oh ye children of the most high, and rejoice that I and a vast array of cosmic beings can now come unto you, as with your ascension process, we may step down, descend our vibratory heights. From our vastness we can take familiar form within your minds eye and speak unto you of great and glorious things and help to guide, ease and enlighten your pathway your own pathway into the cosmos. It is thus with the utmost of love and wisdom revealed that I welcome you to the journey through the cosmos contained within these pages.
Who I am in the vast reaches of the cosmos is in truth beyond comprehension, and yet more and more of my very self is able to be revealed. I am often called Father, divine Father, and this in truth reveals a great and most esoteric aspect of my beingness. You and your world and indeed the many systems of worlds that are evolving within the universe I embody are of my seed and bear my unique imprint. Like the ideal father I stand in unconditional love of my children, taking unbounded joy in your growth and evolution and awaiting every opportunity to give forth the light of my wisdom. For many eons have I awaited the opportunity to feed you, my hungry ones, on the light/wisdom that I embody. Yet patiently I have waited, contacting only those few who had grown to a point where they could conceive me and always working within for greater limitations than I now am.
