I must say here that it was Lord Maitreya who personally asked me to write this book. It came in totally out of the blue around 1997 and it was a project I had never even considered before then. However, I instantly knew the profound wisdom and importance of such a project for no Ascension Glossary had ever been written! I made a promise to Lord Maitreya at that time I would do this, and I have kept to my word! So you can also thank Krishna and Lord Maitreya for inspiring me to write this book with my dear friend Sarayon Michael White who I wish to acknowledge as well!
A
abandonment: a feeling that stems from a belief that ones wholeness, self-love, self-approval and self-acceptance is in another person or outside thing rather than being based upon ones right relationship to self and right relationship to God. A feeling of being left behind by seeing your rightful place as being outside of yourself, or your present moment.
abeyance: a temporary lapse in ones desire to spiritually grow.

Abrahamic Initiation: an initiation we all must go through in regard to putting God before our children. Abraham was confronted with this initiation when, in the Bible, he was asked to sacrifice Isaac. When he finally was willing to do this, the angels told him it was not necessary. All that is truly necessary is letting go of the attachment and putting God first!

acceptance: allowing a person, object or outcome of events without objection, aversion, doubt or any negative reaction. To accept things the way they are, or to accept something as a part of yourself. This is a key lesson on the spiritual path; allowing the Divine Plan to unfold in your life and the lives of those around you. It is an important part of letting go and not having attachments, and also allowing the love and forgiveness of God into ones life.
Accepted Discipleship: in this third stage of disciple-ship, the master contacts the chela through: (1) a vivid dream experience, (2) symbolic teaching, (3) using a thought form of the master, (4) contact in meditation, or (5) definite remembered interview in the masters
ashram. The keynote of this stage is establishing contact with the master.
accountability: the act of taking responsibility for all aspects of self-mastery and the way ones thoughts, feelings, actions and philosophies affect ones self and the world.
Acropolis in Athens, Greece: on top of a large hill that rises up from the center of modern Athens stands the Acropolis, the most notable structure of which is the Parthenon. It was built as a temple to honor the goddess Athena and stands out as a symbol of the culture, wealth, and pride of the ancient Athenians. The ruins of many other buildings and two massive amphitheaters surround the Parthenon. It was built over the top of an earlier sacred temple, and the hill itself is a great power spot and beacon of light.
activating: awakening the activity and potential of the chakras or higher bodies after anchoring them into the four-body system.

acu-yoga: combining acupuncture and hatha yoga.
Adam: the first human being of the perfected race and a symbol of the five physical races. Adam was an incarnation of Amilius, the first expression of the being known as Jesus Christ.

The lightbody that has the ability to take on any form necessary to create and teach all manner of thinking creation; including superspecies creations that exist as energy creation. The Adam Kadmon is bestowed upon the lightbody, which becomes an extension of YHWH.
Adamic Race: those beings on Earth whose bodies are modeled after the Adam Kadmon blueprint, symbolized in Adam, the first human being.

One of the key tools of attitudinal healing and reprogramming our subconscious mind. This is a fundamental tool given that our thoughts create our reality!
