She made one mistake. Leaving him under the cover of darkness to escape the consequences of her actions would spiral into something so horrific that it cost the innocent lives of many. What she had done, was enough to put her in an early grave, but what her husband did, was downright, diabolical. Time after time, the women and children paid the price, when men made, decisions without consulting God first.
The Forgotten
The women in this story resonate with me so much because I too, suffered the pangs of my mistake. Going from one place to another to find safety, landed me in the grip of someone who did not see my value; someone, who ended the game before I realized it was being, played.
The Forgiven and Highly Favored
Years of healing and working towards forgiveness brought, a unique set of earth angels, to help me in the process. I put my pain on the page; the page became my passion, and the passion became my purpose. This is my story.

Foreword by Stephanie M. Freeman

She is a phoenix rising from the ruins of her despair. Her garment greets the wind like an old friend, honoring the bravery, marveling at the miles. Forever forward she moves; every footfall paves the way for the ones that follow. Past, present, and future ripple and writhe beneath the fabric of her existence. The storms of her past are swallowed whole as passion and purpose swirls her.

Using her pen as a sword, the determined one slays the darkness. Words that flow from her heart to the page sing of home and safe haven for those still lost in the storms.

Stephanie M. Freeman, author of Necessary Evil, Unfinished Business, and Nature of the Beast

Lesson in Flexibility

The Merry Hearts Inspirational Series and this particular book taught me about being open, flexible, and understanding its all about growth. NKs Tribe Called Success has done a number of series centered around romantic suspense, and it left our inspirational fiction authors on the sidelines. So I had to be flexible.

Instagram started as a regional app called Burbn that focused on the developers love of fine whiskeys and bourbon. Back then, it simply allowed users to check-in, post their plans, and share photos. When he saw that the app kept expanding beyond what he imagined, he didnt dig in his heels and say, No, it has to stay within the vision I wanted. They have to use it the way it was created. He listened to what the users wanted, grew from there, and look where the app is today.

The same thing happened with Merry Hearts. I kept putting it on the back burner because all the other genres absorbed my time. Then because of a new audio-only app, I started a 30-day challenge and helped several women who wanted to bring their life stories and self-help books and into the light. Some started in late January, others in the latter part of February and they, who had never written a book before, released their first books in June with the support of my entire writing tribe. All four books, back to back, became #1 Amazon Bestsellers and stayed number one for several days, not just hours.

Still, my focus was on the next series to comethe Queens of the Castle. Until I slid into a room on the app and Shawn Williams, a prophetess, brought me on the stage. She read me up and down for not doing what The Creator called me to dowrite an inspirational series with the Tribe that would inspire people when they truly needed it, at this moment, in these interesting times. She was right. Even in the writing process, several authors shared dark parts of their past that they hadnt told anyone. We began working toward the finish line, but prayed for each other as the tears came and the healing began.
