The Suicide Near-death Experience

All of the stories in my NDE books come from media interviews with the subject profiled in the chapter. I use the media as a third party vetting system since producers typically conduct a background check and research into potential show guests to make sure they are credible.

I also use media interviews because the stories come directly from the person who had the NDE. There is no Internet editing or embellishing. These stories come straight from the person to you.

As my reader, I think its important you know that. Over one hundred hours have been spent seeking out, watching, and evaluating interviews with people who committed suicide and came back to tell what happened.

As you will read in these stories, the NDEs of suicides are radically different than the NDEs you might typically read about. There is clearly a consequence for suicide. Its different for each person, but it is there and, for these people, as real as real can get.

One day, a voice told David to take his life. He recalls, The voice said, you really think Jesus is going to forgive you with all the people that youve hurt? I remember it like it was yesterday. I answered, No. I dont think he will. The voice replied, You know, your wife and kids would be better off if you were dead.

David grabbed a rope and went to the barn behind his home to hang himself. The rope broke from his weight, and the fall knocked him out. His sister found and revived him. He was scared straight for a few months before succumbing to his addiction to meth.

It wasnt long before that fateful evening when Amy came home to a stoned husband, again. That was it for her. She told him that she was leaving and taking the kids with her.

Thats when he reached over, grabbed a semi-automatic assault rifle, placed the butt of the gun on his stomach, and flicked the safety off. As he lowered the barrel under his chin, Amy tried to grab it from him.

He pulled the trigger.

She said there was a loud blast and then she felt air rushing towards her. She called 911. The bullet went in under Davids chin and came out between his eyes. It broke every bone in his face, blew his nose off, and knocked all his front teeth out.

He flat-lined several times on the way to the hospital. It was during that time that he descended to hell. David described his experience, It sounded like millions of people screaming in agony. I looked up and realized how dark it was. I had never been afraid of nothing on this earth but that scared me so bad that I felt like I was going to explode from the inside, like a bomb.
