Foreword

Yolana is probably the best medium in the world. I know many mediums, and Ive tested many of them, so I have a right to say Yolana is the best. And, besides, it was I who found her in the first place, and persuaded her to pursue a career as a professional medium.

It all started some twenty or more years ago. At the time, Yolana was working for friends of mine, Mr. and Mrs. Gagen, as a domestic helper. Christina Gagen called me one day. You know, this woman who works for me here at the house is extremely psychic, she said, and I know youre interested in finding new mediums. She predicted a number of things that have actually come true. I think you ought to look into it.

Well, I did look into it, and I found what I consider the best deep trance medium in the world today. I spoke with Yolana at length, explaining the dos and donts of mediumship, and then suggested that she should make it her lifes work.

Today, Yolana works both as a trance medium and as a clairvoyant. In other words, she has several phases, as we say in the business, and shes good at all of them. Mediumship is a gift, of course, and she has learned to use it wisely and well.

Sometime after our initial encounter, I heard that Yolana had left the Gagens employ and moved into the Martha Washington Hotel, where she not only was living but also giving readings by appointment. I kept up with her career because people kept telling me about the quality of her work, which was first-rate.

I would call on Yolana from time to time to work with me on particularly puzzling police cases, such as the time a police chief needed help solving a murder. He had some potential suspects lined up but no hard evidence.

I put Yolana into a deep trance during which the murder victim, believe it or not, spoke. The police lieutenant present told me that only the victim could have known some of the details of the case, details they needed to convict the person who committed the crime. From that day on, Yolana always has made herself available whenever the police need the help of a medium.

It has been many years since Yolana has been at the Martha Washington Hotel. Today, she lives in a very comfortable apartment on New Yorks Upper East Side. People still consult her for readings on a regular basis, including many A-list celebrities whose names I wont mention here.

This book is the first attempt to tell Yolanas life story since she has become the number one medium in the world. There are other talented psychics, yes, and there are even psychics who dont know they have the gift, but none of them measures up to Yolana. She reveals information to her clients that has substantive meaning for them, something that any psychic can do, but Yolana is very accurate. And while shes not one hundred percent accurate in her readingsno psychic isshe is the most gifted of any medium Ive ever worked with.

I have worked with Yolana on many cases, and I can attest to her talent. This book will acquaint the world with her gift and with her accomplishments. I hope she will be with us for many years to come, to not only help those who have lost loved ones and need psychic advice but also to serve as a fount of information.
