FOREWORD
With the growing number of psychic children being born into the world, there is a need for genuine support and guidance for parents navigating this subject for the first time. Learning your child has psychic abilities can be a daunting revelation, but Raising Faith details one familys discovery of their daughters spiritual gifts, their journey to understand about the spirit world, and how to balance spiritual gifts with everyday parenting challenges.
This book is a valuable and much needed support to anyone raising psychic children, or wanting to learn more about our loved ones and spirit guides who continue to help and support us from the spirit world.
Stewart Keeys, Celebrity Psychic Medium
BEFORE WE BEGIN
When our daughter Faith was four years old, we discovered she was a Psychic-Medium. That is, she could see, hear, feel and communicate with people who had died. Faith is now twelve years old, and her ability to communicate with these spirit people is as strong today as it has ever been.
Raising a child with psychic gifts adds a layer of complexity to parenting which has required an open mind, a willingness to learn, and a respectful acceptance that everything we see, hear or have been raised to believe, isnt necessarily all that exists in this incredible universe.
The journey we have been on together as a mother, daughter and family has been extraordinary. In the beginning, we knew very little about psychic and spiritual matters but, during the past eight years, we have been privileged to communicate with spirit people every day, including regular visits and conversations with our loved ones who have passed, and receiving guidance from our spirit helpers and guides both in times of difficulty and to help confirm or clarify my own understanding of the spirit world.
My desire to understand my young daughters experiences inspired me to learn as much as I could about this subject. My learning journey became much more than I ever expected. The spiritual laws and understandings that I have acquired are life changing, both for me and for anyone wishing to understand more about life here and now, and life after death of the physical body.
I feel incredibly proud and blessed to share this journey with Faith. How she lives her life as a normal young girl alongside her psychic-medium abilities is inspirational, but its not always easy. Raising Faith details the many challenges we have experienced as part of our journey together, including helping Faith manage the messages she receives from spirit, learning how to create boundaries with the spirits who visit her, responding with integrity to the messages and guidance we receive, learning how to protect our energy, and how to encourage only positive spirits and messages around us. We have learned the hard way that negative darker energies can be attracted to us, and have learned how to prevent and detach these. We have discovered that the health and emotional well-being of sensitive, empathic and psychic people can be easily affected by the places we visit, the people we spend time with, and the foods (even healthy foods!) that we consume.
If this book has found its way into your hands, know that there is a good reason for that. I hope that the contents within helps answer your questions, brings you comfort, knowledge, and inspiration and helps you progress forwards on your own life journey.
If you have lost loved ones, know that they are still with you, loving you, watching over you, encouraging you to move forwards and to live your life for your highest good.
Raising sensitive, empathic and psychic children can leave parents, guardians and their families feeling overwhelmed and isolated at times. The challenges are numerous, yet despite the growing number of these extraordinary children coming into the world, the information and support available to help their families is extremely limited. If your family is blessed with psychic abilities, I hope this book helps you feel comforted to know that you are not alone.

COURAGE
It was bedtime and I had not long finished reading Faith a story. She was lying on her back, snuggled under the covers, quietly staring towards the end of her bed. This was the time of day in our house when our lives became a combination of the perfectly ordinary, interspersed with extraordinary moments.
As with most other young children, bedtimes for Faith began with a bath and cleaning her teeth, followed by jumping into bed for a story, and sometimes a conversation about her day, or the fun we had planned for tomorrow.
It was at these times when she was settled in bed, quiet and comfortable, that Faith was most likely to talk about the spirit people that she could see around her.
On this occasion, some months after we had first learned of Faiths psychic abilities, I sat quietly watching as she lay there. She continued to stare straight ahead, relaxed but concentrating on something. My gaze followed to where she was staring, but all I could see were her pink gingham bedroom curtains.
I took a deep breath as I waited. These experiences, as amazing as I found them, still unnerved me. I knew so little about this subject, and although I was trying to learn as much as I could, I was still uncomfortable with the idea that people were around me and my daughter could communicate with them, yet I couldnt see them.
I spoke as calm and confidently as I could, belying the nerves I felt inside. What can you see? I asked her quietly.
Its a new man! she said with surprise. Her face lit up as she told me, but she continued staring straight ahead, watching and listening to him.
I smiled, trying to hide my true feelings, but inside my fears were running rampant. Usually our spirit visitors were familiar to Faith, so who was this new man my daughter could see? Was he friend or foe? I felt vulnerable and out of my depth. As her mother I should have known more than she did so I could help protect her, but on this subject, Faith was more knowledgeable than I was. For as long as she could remember, there were spirit people who had helped and protected her.
Hiding my unease I asked, What does he look like?
She continued to watch him. He looks a bit like Abbys Daddy. I pictured the man Id seen on the school playground who had short, blond wavy hair and a dusting of freckles across his face.
