GOVERNMENT

Citizens for Honest Government, founded in January of 1994, is a non-partisan, non-profit, grass roots organization whose purpose is to promote honesty in government.

Founder and president, Patrick Matrisciana, recognized the need to offer an alternate news medium to the American public, and as an independent documentary film producer he has been able to help fill this need through the medium of video journalism.

Mr. Matrisciana states, "I believe that regardless of our diverse political views, we, as Americans, must join together and demand that the men and women who represent us at the government level be of the highest possible caliber of honor and integrity. This is not a partisan issue; it is a moral issue upon which the strength and the very future of this great nation must stand."

I would like to dedicate this book to the people who have put their reputations and their lives on the line to speak the truth. To those of you who have been hurt by Bill Clinton's abuse of power, yet have bravely stepped forward to tell your story; to you journalists who have dared to write the truth when your associates shrank back; and to those of you in the political arena who have spoken up in front of your colleagues, daring to challenge the reigning power structureAmerica owes thanks.

Specifically, thanks go to the numerous talk show hosts who, although skeptical of our story at first, cared enough to check out the information and then chose to provide us a forum in which to present our message to the American people. Your names would go into the hundreds were they all to be listed. The impact of your programs is clearly demonstrated by the ground-swell of Americans who are now asking for full and open hearings into the allegations against Bill Clinton and his "circle of power." I thank you all.

Accolades also go to those who contributed in the writing and assisted in the compilation of this book.

As citizens of a republic, we consider it a solemn privilege and obligation to select qualified, responsible and honest people to represent us in government. In the event we elect a leader who fails in these crucial areas, we know that the same Constitution which allows us to vote allows us to impeach.

The President of the United States must be a man who will uphold the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, a Commander in Chief who can lead our armed forces with honor, and one who is trustworthy. We do not believe Bill Clinton is this man.
