Top 10 Italian Cuisine Recipes

Ciao

You like Italian food or you would have not purchased this cookbook. You probably don't get out to your favorite Italian restaurant as often as you like. Even then, with prices skyrocketing, a night out at a favorite restaurant can cost you a fortune. Don't blame the restaurant, they are struggling as government restrictions and insurance employment problems are putting many good restaurants out of business. Three of my favorites have gone out of business in the last year. Believe me, it's a shock when you load up the car and arrive at your favorite Italian restaurant and find that Closed Out Of Business sign.

The answer is to learn how to cook Italian meals at home.

You can purchase many Italian cookbooks with thousands of great Italian recipes. You might spend days trying to find that favorite Italian recipe. It is that information overload syndrome.

With the Cook - Tonight series, we simplify your life and give new life to your pocket book. We use only the top 10 recipes with simple easy-to-follow instructions for each country. You say, But, only 10 recipes? This is the amazing thing about Italian food. By simply changing the meat and sauce, you can create an almost endless variety of different delicious meals.

This Italian selection will include two make ahead cold salads, two soups, a veggie dish, a luscious Italian dessert, and your choice of four fantastic Italian classics for the main course.--all true Italian in taste and quality. These four dishes are legion and few other dishes in the world compare. The odds are that one or even four of these robust delights are already your favorites. If not they will become your favorite when you taste the real Italian taste. Its like being at your favorite restaurant, only without the cost.

You can make the choice easier by creating two or three mouth watering main dishes per meal, like they do in Italy. I like to always have a side of Spaghetti Bolognese with my main dish. For me, this is Italian.

Now you can enjoy your favorite Italian dinners at home. You are getting the true, rich Italian taste without going to a restaurant, and think of the money you save.

BTW... I am Tag Powell. I am neither Italian nor a chef. I do, however, love to eat Italian and cook Italian food.

Good fortune has allowed me to travel the world and enjoy amazing dishes from almost every country. Upon returning home, I tried to duplicate these gastronomical wonders. Sometimes I got that authentic taste and other times it took a bit of experimenting. After a few years, I got good at it, and friends always wanted the recipes. I heard that Why don't you write a cookbook line. This is my 9 th cookbook.

Often when traveling in a foreign country for several weeks I get to a point of boredom with that countrys mystery food. I find I must ground myself in a known quantity. I have found two things that work: a Pepsi Float from Pizza Hut (yes, there is one wherever you go) and Spaghetti Bolognese; it is a miracle, but almost any country will have Spaghetti Bolognese on the menu. The real wonder is that it tastes the same almost anywhere you go. The only difference in taste comes from the flavor of the meat that is used.

When I make Spaghetti Bolognese as a one-dish meal, I usually add the meatball recipe to the Wedding Soup, just triple the recipe.

But enough chit chat. I know you want to get started cooking. Everything is good. The Wedding Soup will make a great lunch, I would double the meatball recipe, but again, I love these tasty meatballs.

It is my goal to make the Cook-Tonight series the most delicious and accurate collections of the Top 10 food recipes from each country around the world.
