How to Get Free Traffic
There are several ways to attract visitors to your site and gain more traffic without paying for it. I don't have anything against paid traffic but I'm always looking for new and unique ways to bring in free traffic.
That's what this report is about. I will show you several ways that you can bring more traffic to your websites and blogs.
Hello, I'm Lambert Klein and have been writing articles for several years. I promoted my health sites with the same principles I share here.
The first year or so I spent a lot of money on "Pay per Click" programs such as Adwords. I don't do that anymore.
Will you need to? Well that depends, but if you follow these tips then at least you can reduce the amount you pay drastically.
I have found several techniques throughout the years to get free back links to my web sites and blogs. I will share these ideas and tips with you in the pages of this report.
You can do all of these yourself or you could outsource some of them if you want.
I'm pleased to offer this e-Book to you and am sure you will be totally satisfied and learn useful tips and techniques.
So let's begin
One Way Links
We all want links. The more links pointing to us the better our visibility is on the web. That is if they are high quality and are produced in a natural way that the search engines will love.
There are basically two kinds of links that can point toward your website. These are reciprocal and one way links.
Reciprocal links are the ones where two websites are linking back and forth to each other. These links are not as important as one way links which Google and other search engines love quite a bit more.
One way links are more important, have more punch, and will benefit your sites more. You will be happy to know that all of the techniques in this report will bring you one way links in most cases.
Many believe that one way links are too hard to acquire. They may be harder to get in some cases, but I will show you how you can get them with just a little effort and time on your part.
Just remember to go about this the smart way. Don't spam or try to cheat your way through. If you really try to help others and contribute to the online community then you will benefit and reap the rewards.
Yahoo Answers
Have you ever used Yahoo Answers? If not, then this will be a good example of how to get quality back links while helping others. Just be sure that you pick a topic that's relevant to your niche and something you are knowledgeable about.
First, go to:
http://answers.yahoo.com/
You will see a screen like this:
When you are logged in:
Click on the middle button "answer"
A new page will pop up with a Search Box. Type the topic of your interest in the search box and hit return or search.
There will be several questions listed down the page. Pick one that you would like to answer and click on it.
- If it says: " Resolved Question " then it already has the "Best Answer" and is closed to further answers, so back up and move on to the next question of interest to you.
When you see this button:
You can click on it and answer the question.
You want it to be the "Best Answer" if possible. So be sure you know the subject well or copy some text from your blog or website that will answer the question in a way that will help the person the most.
Don't leave a sub-par answer just to get a back link.
You want to put some effort into it and leave a decent post that others will find of value.
This will get your message read more and increase clicks to your website or blog.
Besides, you will feel good helping someone out in the process.
Here is where you put your answer:
Notice the bottom box "What's your source?". That's where you put the URL to your site and gain a one way back link. Be sure it's relevant to the question and helps answer it...
When you submit your answer you will see a preview page. If all looks well then hit "Submit".
Now you can scroll down to see your answer and a strong link back to you.
You can repeat this every so often as long as you don't abuse it.
Articles
Writing your own articles and submitting them to article directories and webmasters can produce a large number of back links for you over time.
If you don't think you can write, I suggest that you try. I bet you can.
If you find that you really can't then there are other alternatives such as Ghostwriters and other article writers that will write them for you for a fee.
When you submit your articles to the directories, you cannot promote your products directly in the article. You want to write an article that is relevant to your product and is helping the reader in someway.
When you add your article to a directory you get a Bio Box. Sometimes it's called a resource box. This is where you do your selling. Be sure to mention the benefit of clicking the link in the resource box.
This link should contain a key phrase up to three words that is either your product are a phrase relevant to it.
That's the only place you can advertise your product.
Some directories will let you put a link are two in the article itself as long as you are not promoting yourself. Be careful about this. Many will reject the article if it has links.
If you keep writing and posting enough articles this will build a huge number of quality one way links. Use relevant key phrases in the anchor text (the text containing the link). These will all be pointing back to your website or blog. The search engines will love these.
This is not a super fast process, but if you keep at it you will see results. Also you will be seen as an expert in your niche.
Here are some tips on how to prepare for your article and organize it.
Research
If you are not 100% familiar with your article subject, then you want to do your research first. There are several ways, but here is one way that works for me.
Here are three sources I recommend for research:
- Google
- EzineArticles
- Wikipedia
- Decide on the search phrase that you want to research on.
