While it may seem like a crazy endeavor, youve just started an adventure of epic proportions. Uniting the vegan and Paleo worlds is similar to marrying fire and water. Its almost like they cancel each other out. However, I prefer to think veganism and Paleoism are more like oil and vinegar, two very different substances that, when combined, make a delicious dressing (something that will be very handy in this diet!). But just as you must vigorously shake the bottle of oil and vinegar to achieve the proper mix, the Vegan Paleo diet takes some work. Its no longer possible to grab a quick bite at the big-name fast-food joint, and gone are the days of preparing a meal straight from the preservative-filled box. This diet is all about fresh food. Food that comes from the earth and allows our bodies to thrive at the highest level. And thats what its all about: wellness achieved through a healthy diet.

Introduction
Imagine taking two very different diets and combining them into one unique super way of eating. Enter the Vegan Paleo diet. On the surface, the vegan and Paleo plans are quite opposite. Adopting a vegan diet means cutting out all animal products and achieving protein requirements through grains and legumes. The Paleo diet focuses only on foods that cavemen thrived on, and much of the protein comes from meats and fish. So how can the Vegan Paleo diet really work?
Rather than letting the differences become obstacles, its best to spotlight the similarities in the vegan and Paleo worlds. Both diets celebrate natural food items like fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. By allowing these gifts from nature to be the focal point, the vegan diet and Paleo diet can be joined, creating a wholesome and satisfying union. Additionally, the health benefits of both regimens separately are undeniable, and, with mindful melding, the two together create a superstar diet that is beneficial to the body, mind, and soul.
