Cable Stripes Throw Blanket
You must stripe it! Creating vertically striped colorwork with multiple strands of yarn looks tricky, but this join-as-you-go striped blanket alws you to work with one color at a time so you wont have to fuss with switching back and forth while you work the cables. This technique also makes it easy to add width to your blanket, so you can adjust the size of this cozy throw to suit your needs.

Using yarn B, make ten 9 in (23 cm) tassels for both ends of each cable stripe.
Tie each tassel to one end of a stripe by weaving one 14 in (36 cm) strand of yarn B through the top of the tassel and through the end of the stripe, securing with a knot. Trim and weave in loose ends.
