Linda Permann - Sunshine Blanket: E-Pattern from Little Crochet

Wrap your baby in rays of sunshine with this medium-weight lace blanket. Worked in a subtly toned sock yarn, the pretty petal design radiates from the center and continues to the outside edge of the blanket. If you love giving blankets but hate working foundation chains, this pattern is the one for you, as its worked in the round from the very beginning. Be sure to start with a chain ring (instead of an adjustable ring), as it will stand up better to repeated washing.

If you make the blanket as written, youll use up nearly every last inch of the recommended yarnbuy an extra ball to ensure youll have enough. If youd like to make a stroller-sized blanket that uses only 2 skeins of yarn, end the blanket after Round 34.

Note: Blanket is worked in joined rounds. Do not turn at the beginning of a round. The right side of the blanket is always facing you as you work.
