Introduction
Hello there, and welcome to the world of bookmarks. This time, I have knitted veggies, berries, and leaves. They are done using the double-knitting technique with three needles and some yarn. I love books and I love to knit.

I have been into crafts and knitting since I was a kid. I like making big pieces like Afghans, and I love to design doilies. The thing that inspires me the most, though, is color. I see a color and think that a garment would look great in that color. Because I am a vivid reader and love books, I knitted something for my loved ones. There are some bookmarks: veggies and berries of beautiful shapes, ranging from carrot to exotic chili pepper.

I have found fun and quirky projects for knitting. They can also make a great gift.

Introduction and Techniques
I prefer to use natural fiber for my knitting projects, particularly pure wool. Garments are small and unlikely to be used as a whole ball for one. Search stash for yarns in red and various shades of green because these colors appear more frequently in the book. Tension for gauges are given and you may wish to use a larger or smaller needle than the one stated in the pattern, depending on whether you are a tight or loose knitter.

The good news is that you do not have to sew the components together.
