One of the sweetest sensory experiences is the smell of freshly baked goods. It brings us pleasure and warmth, and it is something that both children and adults associate with comfort and joy. This book is a helpful tool for kids who want to bake on their own, or accompanied by an adult.
The rule of thumb is that the younger the baker, the more likely adult help will be required. The recipes were selected by taking what children love and appreciate into consideration, but also for the purpose of offering a wide array of baking options. There are both breads and pastries, and no prior baking experience is required. The book is filled with straightforward instructions that make baking an easy-to-do learning experience. When children bake, they develop their dexterity and creativity, in addition to an interest in home-baked bread that is free of unnecessary additives.
