  • black permanent markers (thick and thin)
  • silver foam sheet
  • foam glue
  • large rhinestone
  • thin ribbon
  • hot glue

optional:

  • pink glitter glue
  • sequins
  1. Draw a boot shape on paper, about 7 inches (18 cm) by 8 inches (22 cm). Cut out.Trace onto pink foam. Cut out the boot shape from the foam.
  2. With the thick black marker, draw a heel and a sole. Add boot decorations, usingthe thinner marker to draw stitching.
  3. Cut out a spur with a starburst end from silver foam, about 3 inches (8.9 cm) by1 inch (2.5 cm).
  4. Use hot glue to attach the spur to the boot and the large rhinestone to the spur.Let dry.
  5. Hot glue each end of a piece of thin ribbon to the top back of the boot.

Optional: Decorate the boot with pink glitter glue and hot glue sequin accents. Letdry. Write your name on the spur to personalize.

You will need:
  • 20 to 22-inch (51 to 56-cm) cloth bandana
  • pen
  • ruler
  • fabric scissors
  • thin ribbon

  1. On a flat surface, fold the bandana in half with wrong sides together and the foldat the top. Line up the edges.
  2. Starting at the fold, draw a straight line down both sides of the bandana, 4 inches(10 cm) from each edge. Along each line, mark every inch (1.9 cm).
  3. From the bandanas edge, cut inward through both layers at each -inch (1.9-cm) markto the line you drew (leaving the top fringe wider). Lay scissors on its side, andcut the fold line to the line you drew. Repeat on the opposite side. Each side nowhas fringe.
  4. Down both sides, tie each pair (front and back) of fringe in a double knot. Leavethe pair on each side that is farthest from the fold untied.
  5. Grab the untied pair of fringe on one side and tie in a double knot with one endof the ribbon. Flatten the ribbon, and repeat with the other pair of untied fringe.

Optional: Add two beads to the end of each tied fringe. Tie in a single knot overthe second bead.

  • 4x5 inch (10x13 cm) silver foam sheet
  • pen
  • 60 inches (152 cm) clear plastic cording
  • hot glue

  • jewels or rhinestones
  1. Draw a horseshoe shape on paper, about 3 inches (9.5 cm) by 4 inches (12 cm).Cut out. Trace only the outer arch of the horseshoe onto both pink foam pieces. Tracethe entire horseshoe onto the silver piece of foam. Cut out the shapes from all threepieces of foam.
  2. Stack the silver piece on top of the two pink pieces, lining up the edges. Use thepen to poke holes through the silver foam, along the sides and bottom of the piece.Each hole should be about inch (.64 cm) apart and inch (.64 cm) from the edge.Set the silver piece aside.
  3. Using the marks left from the silver holes as guides, poke holes in the first pinkpiece. Repeat with the second pink piece. Restack the three foam pieces, lining upthe edges and holes.
  4. Trim the cording ends to a point. Fold the cording in half, and mark the center point.String the cording down through all three layers of the bottom center hole. Pullthe cording until the mark on the cording lines up with the hole. String the cordingdown through the layers of the next closest hole. Continue around one half of thehorseshoe. String the remaining cording through the holes on the opposite side ofthe horseshoe.
