Michelle P Maidenberg PHD MPH LCSW-R is the president and clinical - photo 1

Michelle P. Maidenberg, PHD, MPH, LCSW-R, is the president and clinical director of Westchester Group Works, a center for group therapy, and also maintains a private practice serving individuals, couples, and families. She created and coordinates the Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy program at Camp Shane, a health and weight-management camp for kids and teens in Arizona, California, Georgia, New York, and Texas, and Shane Diet and Fitness Resorts for young adults and adults in New York. Dr. Maidenberg is cofounder and clinical director of Thru My Eyes, a nonprofit that allows individuals with life-threatening diseases to leave clinically guided video legacies for their loved ones. She teaches at New York University in their graduate program in the Silver School of Social Work. Dr. Maidenberg is a consultant and trainer and often presents at conferences and publishes on the topics of health and wellness, parenting, mindfulness, socialization, anxiety, trauma, assertiveness training, and group treatment. She has contributed to articles in The New York Times, Fitness, Shape, Parents, Parenting, and more.
