Introduction
Would you like to turn your childs birthday party into an event that will be the talk of the playground? Do you want some fun projects to break the boredom of long school holidays? Or are you looking for a way to get creative and let your imagination take flight? Thinking about the answers to these questions led to my first book, Easy Party Treats for Children . I am passionate about turning everyday sweets and biscuits into something special. I also want to prove that, with a little time and a touch of creativity, anyone can give their child a party to remember. Whether youre a mom or dad, grandparent, aunt, uncle, teacher or party organiser, youll find the perfect party treat in this book. Even better, it wont cost the earth, or take hours to make.
More Easy Party Treats for Children focuses on some popular party themes, like pirates, princesses, superheroes, monsters and dinosaurs, but the treats can be adapted to many other themes. The recipes use readily available ingredients like jelly sweets, ice-cream cones, marshmallows, liquorice allsorts and Marie biscuits. Apart from basics like fridge brownies, cupcakes, coconut ice and Rice Krispies squares, which are prepared in advance, all the treats can be assembled quite quickly once you have the ingredients to hand.
Sweet treats are always a hit at childrens parties. More Easy Party Treats for Children makes party preparation quick and flop-proof. And for rainy afternoons when theres nothing to do? Choose a theme, prepare some icing or melted chocolate, put out a variety of sweets and biscuits and let them have fun!
Enjoy!
