Sophias grandparents taught her how to be a psychic and use her intuitive powers in a number of ways. Through them, Sophia mastered many kinds of divination, such as playing card readings, crystal ball readings, and tea leaf and coffee ground readings to name a few. Also her grandparents trained her in the art of being a medium. She regularly teaches workshops and classes on many of these subjects and gives professional readings.
Sophia is a popular, best-selling New Age author and ceramic artist. She is also an animal intuitive and worldwide traveler. She has the ability to call wild animals to her whereever she goes.
Denny is a writer, artist, and university instructor who was first introduced to mythology and magick in New York, where he grew up. Ancient cultures and folklore became a lifelong obsession and have informed all his writing. He has an MA in History/Cross Cultural Communications from Western Washington University, where he also taught. He has been initiated into a number of esoteric, Western Hermetic, and Tantrika traditions. He has helped found, write, and edit several esoteric journals of contemporary mythology and magick, such as Mandragore, Kalika, Aeon, and Silverstar .
Denny lived in Japan and continues to engage in extensive traveling research around the globe. Everywhere, there are dogs. His previously published books include Global Ritualism, The Tao of Birth Days, The Magical Garden (co-written with Sophia), Your Guardian Angel and You, Clean Sweep, and Dancing with Spirits . He loves all animals, especially canines, and has been known to mysteriously disappear during the full moon.

How important are dogs in our lives?
Well, in our house, our dog has been the glue that holds the home and each of us together in so many ways. He is the one that loves you when you come home upset and depressed after a terrible workday and makes you feel instantly better. He is the one that gives love and comfort and help whenever needed, without asking for anything in return. Okay, maybe hell request (insistently) some doggie treats and a hug or two.
If you have a dog, you know what I mean. The bond we have with our furry familiars is deep and far-reaching. A day doesnt go by without reading an article about some dog saving a child or a dog helping someone with special needs. We spend hours watching cute puppies on YouTube because it makes us feel good.
