This book is written for those preparing to take the SAP Certified Technology Associate SAP HANA 2.0 exam. The book has been targeted for the current C_HANATEC_16 release (as of the time of writing, summer 2020), but is up to date for SPS 05 and is equally valid for earlier editions. The exam tests you in the areas of installation, system administration, performance analysis, and migration. The focus is on SAP HANA, and not on any of the business applications running on the SAP HANA platform (for example, SAP S/4HANA or SAP BW/4HANA). The SAP Certified Technology Associate SAP HANA 2.0 exam can be taken by anyone who signs up. There are no prerequisites.

Each chapter begins with a clear list of the techniques youll master after reading the chapter. After a short introduction, we then cover the topic area(s) and objectives. Then, the majority of the chapter is dedicated to a refresher of the key concepts, where we highlight the most important information that you need to know for the exam. Pay special attention to the illustrations, commands, and bulleted lists as these make for great exam questions.

Each chapter also contains a section of important terminology you should remember.

We then proceed to a number of practice questions, which will help you evaluate your understanding of the topics covered in the chapter.
