Tapas are the traditional Spanish appetizer recipes that are very famous worldwide. People around the world now try these tapas recipes when they throw any party or do a get-together with family and friends. Sometimes people make it conveniently for themselves because they are easy to make and serves great as a snack or even breakfast. In Spanish cuisine, they love peppers, jalapenos, baguette, tomatoes, avocado, a mix of different cheese, aioli, shrimp, mushrooms, garlic and a lot of balance of herbs and spices.

Classic Tapas Tortilla
This Tapas tortilla is not like your traditional tortilla that you eat. It is different in ingredients, texture, and taste.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes Cooking Time: 35 minutes Serves: Ingredients:
- 2 cups Charlotte potatoes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 white onion, sliced
- 4 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions: Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly. In a pan, add the olive oil. Add the white onion and cook for 2 minutes. Add the potato slices. Sprinkle some salt on top. Cook for 20 minutes.
In a bowl, beat the eggs with salt and pepper. Add the potatoes and onion mix into the egg mix. Add some oil on a skillet. Pour the egg mix. Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes. Serve.

You will love the sauce on top. Preparation Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 2 hours Serves: Ingredients:
- 750g potatoes
- 400g tomatoes, chopped
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tsp caster sugar
- 3 vine tomatoes, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- tsp dried chili flakes
- tsp sweet smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp sherry vinegar
- Parsley, to serve
Instructions: Peel the potatoes and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Boil the potatoes for 8 minutes. Preheat the oven to 380 degrees F. In a baking tray, add half the olive oil. Arrange the potatoes in the tray.
Roast for about 50 minutes. For the sauce, add the rest of the oil in the pan. Add the crushed garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Add the onion and stir for 5 minutes. Add the seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Coat the potatoes with salt. Add the sauce on top.
Smoky Albondigas
This is a classic meatball dish made using the tapas technique. You will love the combination of two kinds of meat here. The gravy is outstanding. Preparation Time: 20 minutes Cooking Time: 40 minutes Serves: Ingredients:
- 400g pork mince
- 4 white bread slices
- 400g beef mince
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- Olive oil
- tsp smoked paprika
- 6 tbsp milk
- parsley a small bunch, chopped
- 1 egg
Tomato sauce
- 200 ml red wine
- 800g chopped tomatoes
- 2 garlic cloves, sliced
- 1 pinch smoked paprika
Instructions: Cut off the crust of the bread slices.
Cut the bread slices into small cubes. Add the milk to a bowl. Add the bread cubes and soak them. Add the egg, paprika, seasoning, garlic, and minced meat. Coat well and make meatballs. In a pan, add the olive oil.
Fry the meatballs until they are brown. Transfer the meatballs to a plate. In the same pan, add some more oil. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the wine and cook for 2 minutes. Add the paprika, tomatoes, seasoning and cook for 10 minutes.
Add the meatballs and cook for 20 minutes. Serve with parsley on top.
Ham Croquettes
These little croquettes are perfect for any gathering in tapas-style. With every bite, you will feel heavenly. Preparation Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 10 minutes Serves: Ingredients:
- 150g serrano ham, chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 75 g butter
- 75 g plain flour 75g
- 500ml whole milk
- 50g manchego, grated
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 2 eggs
- 100g breadcrumbs
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions: In a pan, add ham and add the bay leaf. Cook for about 5 minutes.
