Subir Verma is head, HR, at Tata Power DDL. A writer, speaker and start-up mentor, he is an engineer and postgraduate from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. In the twenty-four years of his professional career, he has worked in information technology, telecom, retail, financial and manufacturing sectors. He was previously head, HR Business, at Tata Power, director, HR, at Tata Communications, chief human resources officer at Augure, and general manager at Reliance Communications and Reliance Industries Limited.
Subir has been conferred with HR Leader of Peoples Choice by Businessworld, CHRO of the Year by World HR Forum, Best TA Person by Hindustan Times and Power of Idea Winner by the Economic Times.
He is on CIIs Committee on Industrial Relations as well as the advisory board for Atal Innovation Committee (Nalanda) under the Startup India programme of the Government of India, and is an honorary academic adviser to many institutes, including Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology School of Management and Poornima University.
Dr Sagarika Verma is a PhD and MBA in HR with over fifteen years of experience as an entrepreneur and in the corporate world in the area of human resources and consulting. She has been associated with ICICI, Indian Institute of Management Indore and Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, before she caught the entrepreneurial bug in 2002 and founded Idream Consultants and www.idreamjobs.com. In 2009, the organization was recognized as one of the top five companies in eastern India, and that same year, she moved on to new pursuits.
She has also been associated with UNDP, the National Association of Disableds Enterprises and Indian Development Foundation (working towards leprosy elimination and TB control), and IIFT.
Sagarika has been featured in the New Indian Express, Dainik Bhaskar, the Samaja and on Doordarshan. A prolific trainer who has mentored professionals from over thirty companies, she was conferred with awards for the Best Learning Company and the Best Women Leader of the Year at the Future Leadership Summit.
