Introduction
Do you love Pocahontas? Are you a fan of Meeko and Smith? Would you like a menu inspiration for your party? If the answer is yes, you have come to the right place!
This book has 30 recipes taken from or inspired by the movie. As we know, Meeko is always up to an adventure and after Smiths sweet treats.
There are starters, drinks, main course, and desserts to choose from.
You and your guests are sure to have a fun time catching up with the movie and enjoying these treats. Lets begin.
Chapter 1: Drinks to Get the Party Started!
1. Coffee
Native Tribes like that of Pocahontas loved coffee. In fact, they were some of the first ones to discover and make the beverage.
Serving size: 1
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
Instructions:
Add the milk, coffee powder and sugar to a saucepan and boil.
Serve and enjoy.
2. Wine
The natives brewed their own alcohol. Most of it was weak but it was something they consumed very regularly. Wine was one of them.
Serving size: 4
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
1 orange, chopped
1 apple, chopped
1 lime, chopped
2 tablespoons sugar
4 cups red wine
cup brandy
cup orange liqueur
Ice cubes
Instructions:
Add the orange, apple, lime, sugar, wine, brandy, liqueur and ice cubes to a jug and mix.
Serve and enjoy.
3. Beer
The native tribes loved beer. From using it to make alcoholic drinks to concoctions, there were many uses for it.
Serving size: 4
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
4 lime wedges, sliced
12 mint leaves, chopped
1 teaspoon sugar
10 ounces white rum
1 cup golden ale
Ice cubes
Instructions:
Add the lime, mint, sugar, ale, rum and ice cubes to a jug and mix.
Serve and enjoy.
4. Ojibwe
Ojibwe is a traditional drink made by native tribes.
Serving size: 4
Cooking time: 10 minutes

Instructions:
Add the ice water, fruits and honey to a jug and mix.
Serve and enjoy.
5. Mint Tea
The natives predominantly used herbs in their drinks. This mint tea is perfect to serve guests.
Serving size: 4
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
2 cups water
15 mint leaves
1 teaspoon honey
1 cup ice
2 lemons, sliced
1 cup fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
Add the water, mint leaves, honey and lemons to a pot and boil for a minute.
Strain, add lemon juice and ice cubes and serve.
Chapter 2: Starters and Main Course
6. Glazed Ham
In the movie, there is a large piece of ham with lemons and blueberries on a large platter. This glazed ham is ideal to get the party started.
Serving size: 4-6
Cooking time: 5 hours
Ingredients:
1 gammon on the bone
1 cup maple syrup
1 cup apricot jam
1 cup brown sugar
12 whole cloves
Instructions:
Mix the maple syrup, apricot jam and sugar.
Add the ham to a tray and pour the jam mixture all over it.
Make tiny slits into the ham and pierce the cloves into it.
Roast in a preheated 250 Fahrenheit oven for 5 hours.
Slice, serve and enjoy.
