Introduction
Lemon recipes are the divas of the food word. Not only are they known for the way the flavor dances on ones tongue, but the flavor alone is often a flamboyant one. While most dessert dishes are often made with lemons, very few people realize that lemon can be incorporated in some of your favorite dinner or lunch meals as well. That is exactly what you are going to learn more in depth about throughout the pages of this cookbook.
Throughout this cookbook, it is my hope that you will learn how to prepare new and exciting dessert and dinner dishes that you wont be able to get enough of. By the end of this cookbook it is my hope that not only are you able to utilize the flavor of lemons in some of your favorite dishes, but that you also discover over 25 delicious recipes that you can make from the comfort of your own home.

Lemon Butter Cookies
These cookies deliciousness comes from its natural flavoring. Made with a triple lemon flavoring, these cookies will melt in your mouth with every bite.
Makes: 30 servings
Total Prep Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. of baking powder
- 1, 8 ounce pack of cream cheese, soft
- cup of butter, soft
- 1 cups of white sugar
- 2 Tbsp. of grated lemon zest
- 1 Tbsp. of lemon juice
- 1 tsp. of pure vanilla
- 1/8 tsp. of lemon oil
- 1/8 tsp. of yellow food coloring
- 1 tsp. of sea salt
- 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
Directions:
- In a bowl, add in the all-purpose flour and baking powder. Stir well to mix.
- In a bowl, add in the soft cream cheese and soft butter. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth in consistency. Add in the white sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, pure vanilla, lemon oil, egg, egg yolk, yellow food coloring and dash of salt. Continue to beat until creamy.
- Add in the flour mix and continue to beat until incorporated.
- Cover and set the bowl into the fridge to chill for 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Place two sheets of parchment paper onto two baking sheets. In a bowl, add in the powdered sugar. Set aside.
- Divide the cookie dough into 1 inch sized balls. Roll into the powdered sugar and place onto the baking sheets.
- Place into the oven to bake for 13 to 15 minutes or until baked through. Remove and set aside to cool completely.
- Serve with a dusting of powdered sugar.
Lemon Pudding Cakes
Make these delicious lemon pudding cakes during your next brunch event. It makes for a wonderful dessert dish I know you will fall in love with.
Makes: 6 servings
Total Prep Time: 1 hour and 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 cup of whole milk
- 2 tsp. of lemon zest
- 6 Tbsp. of lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. of butter, melted
- tsp. of salt
- 6 Tbsp. of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of white sugar
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
- Berries, for serving
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease 6, 6 ounce ramekins with cooking spray.
- In a bowl, add in the egg yolks, whole milk, lemon zest, lemon juice, melted butter and dash of salt. Stir well to mix. Add in the all-purpose flour and white sugar. Beat well until smooth in consistency.
- In a bowl of a stand mixer, add in the egg whites. Beat on the medium setting until peaks form on the surface. Add in the lemon mix and continue to beat until evenly incorporated.
- Place the ramekins into a baking dish. Pour the batter into the ramekins.
- Pour water around the outside of the ramekins.
- Place into the oven to bake for 45 to 50 minutes. Remove and set aside to cool for 20 minutes.
- Dust with powdered sugar.
- Serve with a topping of berries.
Lemon Brownies
If you love the taste of traditional brownies, then I know you wont be able to get enough of this fresh tasting and zesty brownies.
Makes: 8 servings
Total Prep Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
- cup of all-purpose flour
- cup of white sugar
- tsp. of salt
- 1 stick of butter, soft
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. of lemon juice
- of a lemon, zest only
Ingredients for the glaze:
- cup of powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. of lemon zest
- 1 Tbsp. of lemon juice, as needed
Directions:
- In a bowl, add in the all-purpose flour, white sugar and dash of salt. Stir well to mix. Add in the soft butter. Cut in with a pastry cutter until crumbly in consistency.
- In a separate bowl add in the eggs, lemon juice and lemon zest. Whisk well until lightly beaten. Add into the flour mix and stir well to mix.
- Pour into a greased baking dish.
- Place into the oven to bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove and set aside to cool.
- Prepare the glaze. In a bowl, add in the powdered sugar, lemon juice and lemon zest. Whisk until smooth in consistency. Pour over the top of the brownies.
- Allow to set for 10 minutes.
- Slice into bars and serve.
Glazed Lemon and Zucchini Bread
This is a fresh tasting and healthy bread dish you can make whenever you want to feel less guilty about the food you are consuming.
Makes: 8 servings
Total Prep Time: 50 minutes
Ingredients for the bread:
- 2 cups of bread flour
- tsp. of salt
- 2 tsp. of baking powder
- 2 eggs
- cup of canola oil
- 1 1/3 cup of white sugar
- 2 Tbsp. of lemon juice
- cup of buttermilk
- 1 lemon, zest only
- 1 cup of zucchini, grated
Ingredients for the glaze:
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp. of lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. of whole milk
Directions:
- Prepare the bread. In a bowl, add in the bread flour, dash of salt and baking powder. Stir well to mix. Set this mix aside.
