H eadbands make brilliant knitting projects.

Fast and satisfying, and excellent for using up stash or leftover yarn. Most importantly, headbands are really practical. They keep us snug and warm in colder weather without messing up our hair like hats can. Headbands are the perfect hair accessory for bad hair days! Simply stick it all into a messy bun, add a headband and ta-da! Style and snugness achieved in super fast time. This book contains 30 lovely knitting patterns to knit headbands either for yourself, to to give as unique gifts. You will find designs in a variety of yarn thicknesses.

You can use any yarn that you have to hand - as long as it works with the given needle sizes then you are good to go. Most of the headband patterns are knit on straight needles. You will work a strip, and cast off once the desired length is reached. Suggested lengths are given for each design. Some stitches and patterns are stretchier than others so there is no set measurement to work to. 40cm circular knitting needles work wonderfully for these designs. 40cm circular knitting needles work wonderfully for these designs.

However, do feel free to use whatever tool and method that works best for you. Thank you for reading this knitting pattern book. I hope it inspires you to make a whole batch of wonderfully snug headbands.
