Can you please explain thedifference between the CAPM and thePMP Exam?
Certified Associate in ProjectManagement (CAPM)
If you are a junior projectmanagement practitioner and have demonstrated your skills as aproject team member then the Certified Associate in ProjectManagement (CAPM) is the best option for you. You will gain thefundamental knowledge of processes and terminology that will helpyou effectively manage projects. For theCAPM certification all you need is a high school diploma andeither 1,500 hours of professional experience on a project team, or23 hours of project management training.

Project Management Professional(PMP)
If you perform your projectmanagement duties under general supervision, lead the team, anddirect all project tasks then you should go for the ProjectManagement Professional (PMP) credential. You will developan in-depth understanding and skills to lead and direct projectteams to deliver results within the constraints of budget, time,and scope. This certification requires three years of professionalexperience with at least 4,500 hours spent leading and directingproject tasks with a bachelors degree or global equivalent. With ahigh school diploma, five years of professional experience isrequired with at least 7,500 hours spent in leading and directingproject tasks. Also required is 35 hours of project managementrelated education.
