Sue Dymond has been a friend for over 30 years and has not faltered in her passion for life and what it has to offer. Her approach was no different when bringing up her children, especially Chloe. The day that Sue told me that Chloe had Down syndrome, I knew that Chloe would have every opportunity available to her and that Sue would not accept anything less.

She has and will always be an inspiration to me!
    Juliana Plummer

Congratulations to Sue Dymond on her initiative and persistence in bringing together this wonderful book. It is a true testament to herself and Chloe.

I have known Sue for 10 years as an active contributor in a support group I manage for parents with a Down syndrome 15+ son or daughter.

Sue has overcome many massive setbacks in her life and has instead turned them into positive opportunities in order to grow and survive as a full time mother and carer to Chloe.

Chloe has mirrored all the determination she has learnt from her mum, which only serves to make her a stronger and more independent young woman for the future.

Well done! Keep on being happy and positive girls.

    Much love to you both.

    Anthea Forbes,
Mother of a 31 year old son, Adam, with Down syndrome

I have known Sue for 10 years, since our daughters were in school together. When I first met her, Sue was a breath of fresh air; she was totally realistic about our girls disabilities and abilities. She has never been afraid to tell me what she thinks and has always encouraged me to aim that little bit higher. Although this has often been confronting, Sue has helped me push the boundaries to achieve more for my daughter. For this, I thank you Sue.

Chris Poole, mother of Hattie who has Down syndrome

My name is Amanda David, and I am a Disability Client Adviser working for Care Connect. Ive worked with Sue for approximately 2 years, supporting her in her caring role with Chloe. In that time, I have been amazed with Sues dedication to providing Chloe with every possible opportunity for learning and life experience. Sue is Chloes strongest advocate, nothing is impossible. Sue has a fantastic way of thinking out of the square when faced with challenges. While working with Sue, I have learned to challenge the stereotypes of working with disability.I am delighted that Sue has written about her experiences, so people can really understand the challenges of disability services.
