Afterword
During my time in the UK in June 2012, my Aunty Barb got very sick and was rushed to hospital.
Although I had missed being with Adam at his bedside when he was sick, I was granted the privilege of being with her for her last few days.
I was with my cousin, Deb, in the early hours when Aunty Barb passed away and although the memories are painful, I would not have had it any other way.
It seems like no coincidence to me that she died on the same day Adam had passed four years earlier23rd of June.
Aunty Barb knew I was writing this book and wasas alwaysfully supportive and encouraging of what I was doing.
Whilst she was in hospital I made her two promises. Finishing this was one of them.
I promised you I'd do it m'duck. Good night. God bless x
