THE EVERYTHING GUIDE TO BEING A REAL ESTATE AGENT
Shahri Masters
Dear Reader,
When I was asked to author this book, I found it to be a challenge. Every skilled real estate agent has her own ideas about what it takes to be a good agent, and I am no exception. Nearly two decades in the business have helped me develop my own style and manner of doing business. The purpose of this book, though, is to give you the information you need to be the best real estate agent you can be. While my real estate experience is very helpful, working on this book has caused me to question and investigate what I know. I was duty bound to examine my opinions and methods, so I researched the many topics covered here and made every attempt to include information from varying viewpoints.
The effort has given me a fresh perspective and I believe it has made me a better real estate agent. The advantage for you is that you have a book written by a practicing, experienced agent with a broad scope and an open mind. I believe it will make you a better agent as well.
I have loved being a real estate agent from the day I started my career in 1988 and nothing has changed that fact for me. My hope for you is that you will find the same love for real estate and that you will also find the direction you need to help you in your new and exciting career.
