Preface
The world of today is really complex and diverse. In some countries the population is rich and healthy, free and independent, and living under democratic rules, while in other countries the population is poor and starving and is living under dictatorships. The breakdown of the colonial system since the 1960s has really changed the world giving us a great number of new nations and new national identities. Social and family circumstances often differ between countries.
