His most successful field of activity in previous years has been software development and testing, where he gained significant international work experience as an individual contributor, manager and leader. He is currently a researcher with Riga Technical University. In recent years, he has been a member of teaching staff and participated in many research projects. His research interests are software development, product management, smart cities, metaverse, quantum computing, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. He has a passion for innovation, solving complex problems.

He is an expert in web and mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, Internet technologies, ecommerce, Fintech, EdTech, enterprise software, systems integration as well as experienced in owning programs in the digital transformation space industrial IoT, IT/OT convergence, extended reality, blockchain, mobile apps and software frameworks, and digital payments. Over the years, he has built, led, and scaled high-performing teams of technologists at various organizations.
