As a massage therapist, Health and Wellness Coach/Personal trainer and disability claims management consultant, health and wellness is my passion.

I believe that ones overall health and wellness isnt just physical, its also psychological.

We all deal with obstacles in our lives and by getting past those obstacles, we become stronger. I want to be that motivator for my clients. I want to be that support system I didnt have. My focus is to help guide my clients toward reaching all of their goals in a safe and healthy way.

I NEVER see my clients as just a number, a follower or a sale. I see people who need a guidesomeone who really believes in them, to help them form new habits and help them find their way on a journey towards reaching their own health and fitness goals.

Ive also got years and years of experience in training myself. Ive never been coached by anyone else and everything I recommendwill work because it has worked for me. Ive learned what works for my body and know I can do the same for you, the client.

I have never been really obese but yes, I was overweight. I didnt always have a toned, athletic body. My weight was constantly fluctuating and I was always trying some form of diet in a desperate attempt to find some miracle weight loss method but the diets never worked for long, they were not sustainable and each time the dreaded muffin top kept returning.

I had four children, was almost 50 years old and thought that the pancake booty, cellulite legs, the muffin top and lack of tone were just things that me, as a middle aged woman, would just have to deal with as I was getting older.

Then came a turning point for me. a divorce and a diagnosis of major depression lead me to acknowledge that if I didnt make changes NOW, things could turn really bad for me. I knew that I needed to make some drastic changes in every aspect of my life after all, I was also raising two teen age girls who watched how I was living my life and my worry was that they would follow my less than healthy lifestyle.

Making this decision was not easy. and the journey has been slow and it without family support or any external motivators it was psychologically very difficult for me. I knew I needed find something that would get me motivated and get me excited about becoming physically active.

This is when I found Hot Yoga, Vertical running (stairs) all combined with a very good weightlifting program.

On days when I felt too tired or mentally drained I would pick an activity I liked doing or I would just go to a hot yoga classBelieve methere are times when I needed that hot yoga class daily. It was really quite surprising to me at how easy working out can be when you enjoy the activity regardless of how tired you may be.

Then things took another exciting but scary twist in this journey of mine. I decided to just go for it. I resigned from my corporate job, got my personal training certification and my healthy weight loss certification.

I began to change how I was eating, actively continued with an almost daily hot yoga program (thanks to a local Hot Yoga studio and their $50 introductory Yoga classes), A HIIT program and a weightlifting program in the gym. I felt lucky that because I had experience in the gym and had been lifting weights on and off for about 30 yearsAt least I knew where to beginI knew what would work for my body.

I had no family support, no external motivators at all. I did begin to understand that I needed to believe in ME!

Understand that Adversity and dealing with situations that just scared the hell out of me were all part of what would lead me to where I needed to go. My biggest motivator was still my childrenthis was my chance to really lead by exampleto shine in moments of misfortune. It has not been easy, but it was the only choice I had. and I had to come back stronger and more motivated than ever before.
