Dedication
W e dedicate this book to our mothers, Jessie Spicer Zerner and Jennie Farber, and to our fathers, Ray Zerner and Lennie Farber, for giving us life, nurturing us to the best of their abilities, and showing us, by their successes and failures and how they dealt with them, how to live. Monte also wants to thank his aunt and uncle, Rosie and Morris Harth, and his stepmother, Doris Farber, for being there when he needed them most and, finally, his parents again, Jennie and Lennie, for not naming him and his sister Karen, Kenny and Penny.
We have created The Soulmate Path to acquaint you with the art of love and to show you the steps you can take to bring love into your life. Whether you want to improve your existing relationship or meet your Soulmate, The Soulmate Path can light your way there and provide you with the means for getting in touch with the quiet voice within you that knows, without a doubt, what is best for your greatest good and highest joy.

What It Takes
by Arielle Ford
Many years ago I attended a weekend workshop given by a relationship expert. The first exercise we did was a guided visualization that took us back to the home of our childhood. The instruction was to walk through the house and find a scene where our mother and father were showing affection toward one another. As I wandered through my childhood home, I soon realized that this was an impossible task for me. No matter how hard I searched, I couldn't remember a scene (from any year) in which my mother and father were even in the same room togetherlet alone being affectionate with one another. When the exercise was over, it became clear that I was not the only one who was unable to complete the task: most of the participants could not locate even one memory of Mom and Dad displaying intimacy, connection, or affection. I don't remember much else from that workshop, but I'll never forget how surprised I was by the revelation that I had grown up in a home in which I rarelyif eversaw love expressed between my parents.
Some would argue that the absence of positive role models in childhood can be an obstacle to finding true love and enjoying a fulfilling, committed intimate relationship. The book you're now holding turns that myth on its head. In The Soulmate Path, soulmates Monte Farber and Amy Zerner share the intimate details of their own personal journey. Like my soulmate, Brian, Monte actually met his future wife in his dreams long before he ever saw her in the flesh. In both cases, these prophetic dreams provided a meaningful glimpse of the love that would one day be fully realized. This book is living proof that the magic of finding your soulmate is available to everyone.
Monte Farber and Amy Zerner are the perfect role models for anyone who wants an inside look at the challenges, opportunities, and ultimate rewards of soulmate love. You, dear reader, have stumbled upon a shortcut to understanding what it takes to find, nurture, and sustain such love. Monte and Amy have created what can only be called an enchanted relationship; in this book they reveal all the secrets to their success.

Dreams In This Life, On This Earth
by Richard Bolles
I suppose for people who need to put everything into categories, the use of concepts such as goddess, enchanted couple, and the like found on the pages following will cause this to be labeled a new age book. The sad thing about this label is that it creates the danger that only new age people will gravitate toward it, thus causing it to miss its target audience: all human beings who have hearts.
Speaking personally, I don't have a new age bone in my body. I'm strictly a Father, Son, and Holy Spirit man, myself. Have been since my youth, and I'm now 74. Nonetheless, I loved this book and profited greatly from reading it, as I think you will too. Words, after all, are only the dress that thoughts wear. Beneath the temporal terms that these authors choose to use lie eternal truths. Truths that they have discovered in their own life and experience.
And what a wonderful life and experience it is! I first met Monte and Amy on a cruise (of all places) and fell in love with them at first sight. What I loved about them was the way they were constantly, tenderly, together even in the midst of a crowd, yet always ready to move out from each other instantly, to help others around them. It was, and is, a relationship that makes you ache to see. In it are summed up the dreams so many of us have of what they would someday like to find in this life, on this earth.
