Instead, it is about feeding your body plenty of alkaline minerals by consuming nutrient-dense foods like:

This way, your body does not have to use its own mineral reserves and compromise your health. Your bodys pH can be brought down to an acidic level by acidic foods, which includes sugar, artificial sweeteners, dairy, gluten, processed foods, soda, alcohol, caffeinated drinks, and carbonated water, and they all cause your body to compensate by triggering a panic response, such as breathing in oxygen (alkaline) and exhaling carbon dioxide (acidic), urinating, and sweating. In the same way that acid can burn through metal and leave a hole, acidic foods can do damage to your cardiovascular system, digestive system, and muscles and joints, and your body, as a form of defense mechanism, will try with all its might to keep that from taking place. This is why it will look for any possible sources of alkaline minerals to use in neutralizing the acids building up in your system, especially if the foods you eat are not supplying adequate minerals. Your body will inevitably cause damage to itself from robbing your muscles of magnesium (resulting in cramps and muscle pain), grabbing minerals from your teeth (causing tooth decay), and stripping your bones of calcium (leading to osteoporosis and joint pain). Your bloods pH level needs to be regulated, so much that your body will sacrifice itself to ensure that its pH does not stray from the ideal 7.365 mark.
