Well this is exciting Im so happy youve picked me to teach you to draw - photo 6
Well, this is exciting!
I'm so happy you've picked me to teach you to draw flowers. Not sure
if you can tell, but they're my favorite thing to draw, and soon, I hope, they
will be yours, too!
I have been drawing and doodling for years, and while I draw many
things, there have nearly always been flowers involved in some way. After
creating many coloring books in the past few years, I'm now super happy
to be teaching you how to draw flowers just like me. With the skills I'm
going to teach you, you will be able to start drawing your own coloring
images and using your own floral masterpieces for other creative pursuits!
My hope is that by working through this book with me, you
will come away knowing you can draw, too! You'll learn to
draw flowers to start, but also much more as you go on,
and while I'm teaching you my style, your own
style will emerge. This experience will be
fun, so grab a pen and paper, relax,
and let's get drawing!
Hello from
Angel
ssshhh,
its going to be
so
easy!
here's a secret for you...
Before we start I should let you know a little about my drawing style I draw - photo 7
Before we start, I should let you know a little about my
drawing style. I draw in two dimensions, basically flat
like a pancake. To make up for the lack of dimension in my
flat drawings, I add interest with plenty of details, doodles,
and additional elements that would never normally be found in
something like a flower petal, or I insert flowers and paisley patterns
inside of things like animals. I also do this when I'm using color
plenty of it!but we go over that in my other new book,
Let's Get
Creative with Markers
(check it out!).
While I do use photos and my surroundings for inspiration to
get started, it's generally just for shape reference. I recommend you
do this, too. Then I turn the shapes into designs that are instantly
identifiable as mine by adding all the details and elements that I'm
going to teach you throughout this book. It's not hard to draw like
I doit's just a lot of marks inside an outline and a little planning!
Just in case you were wondering what my credentials are for teaching
you anything... I have none! Only a lifetime of practice doing what I love and
sticking to it. Oh, and 15 published coloring books (and counting!). I've had no
professional training in anything, so I hope that makes you feel even better about
