Little girls toilette. Dress of bright blue poplin. Manteau of orange-and-black striped Algerian fabric. Hat trimmed with black velvet and matching feathers. Little girls toilette. Black taffeta dress. The flounces are edged with a band of plaid taffeta. The bodice is trimmed front and back en chelle, with plaid taffeta bands. Wide black ribbon sash bound in plaid taffeta. Taffeta redingote, buttoned from neck to hem. Mantelet of embroidered black tulle. Round hat for the country, lined in green taffeta edged with black velvet and trimmed with green and black pheasant feathers. Dress of violet poult-de-soie. The skirt is trimmed with three ruches la vieille. The bodice is pointed; the sleeves, extremely wide, are trimmed with a ruche la vieille. Hat of pale green ribbed velvet with a pleated brim and a white blonde lace facing; trim of white and green feathers. The coiffure is composed of hair waved slightly off the face and puffed out by the waviness of the hair itself, without the aid of pads.
Young ladys toilette. Dress of blue-and-black striped taffeta. The skirt is trimmed with a wide flounce, surmounted by two narrow ruffles; a double ruche is placed above the narrow ruffles. The dcollet bodice is trimmed with a fichu with rounded ends, edged with a double ruche; white muslin sleeves; high-necked pleated muslin chemisette. Round straw hat. Dress of buff foulard, trimmed with six flounces topped by a narrow bouillonn; the jacket fronts and neck edging are trimmed with two bands of shirring; the sash and the bows on the jacket are of black velvet. The collar is a shirred band of white muslin, threaded with a ribbon.
Little boys suit. Blouse and pants of black-and-white striped poplin with black soutache trim. Autumn redingote of gray taffeta. Each width of fabric is scalloped along its entire length in brown silk with a button in every scallop, and each overlaps the next panel. The bodice is also scalloped in front, as are the cuffs and the sleeve seams. Dress of violet poult-de-soie. A two-tone violet ruche edges the black guipure along the sides of the skirt, on the bodice, and the sleeves. Passementerie buttons of two shades of violet encircled by guipure are placed in the space between the ruches.
Marie Antoinette fichu, front and back views. Taffeta Lavallire bonnet in two shades of brown, embroidered in chenille; trimmed with velvet flowers and a bunch of grapes. It is encircled by black lace; black velvet ribbon strings. The interior is trimmed with the same flowers. Mexican blue satin bonnet. The brim is black satin, appliqud with black velvet leaves whose veins are indicated by black beads. The bavolet, matching the brim, is trimmed with wide lace. A black aigrette adorns the crown, the brim facing is trimmed with feathers and velvet flowers of Mexican blue. The strings are black taffeta with lace edging. White velvet bonnet with full bavolet of green velvet, edged with black lace; the top of the hat is embellished with a large green velvet bow trimmed with pink flowers and black berries; brim facing matches; wide white bonnet strings, second set in black lace.
