K nowing how you should approach a woman you want to talk to all begins with having the appropriate mindset. If you dont believe in yourself, you cant get far in any area of life and this definitely includes dating and talking to women. As stated in the introduction, speaking to a woman is not difficult at all, but if you believe it is, it will make it into a huge challenge. Our beliefs determine many of our experiences in life. If you are able to change your ideas about speaking with women, it will automatically become easier.

Becoming Aware of your Own Excuses:

Many men will see a pretty woman out in public, think about how much theyd like to speak to her, and then proceed to sabotage themselves, giving themselves reasons why they shouldnt approach her. No one in life is going to get very far when they are constantly battling against themselves in their minds, so your first task is to start working for yourself rather than against yourself.

• Examples of Excuses: The average guy shoots himself down before he even has a chance to speak with a beautiful lady. He might tell himself that she probably isnt available anyway, or that she appears to be busy, or worst of all, that she is too good for him. Your first task is to start paying attention to the ways that you hold yourself back with women. Without first becoming aware of the ways you sabotage yourself, you cant ever change it.
  
• Non-Judgment: This is the hard part. When you start to notice the different self-defeating thoughts you tell yourself about your own attractiveness or talking to women, try to notice this without judging yourself. When you get down on yourself about the areas of life you want to improve, you arent doing yourself any favors. All youre doing is staying the same and feeling guilty. When you can notice these things without harsh self-judgment, youre already on your way to making the positive changes necessary in your life.
  
• Desperation : Sometimes, when a guy does finally become brave enough to speak to a woman he finds attractive, he will be hoping that she is also attracted to him. That is one of the worst possible mindsets to have in this type of situation. As he goes up to start a conversation, he will exude an air of desperately wanting her to like him. But this is the quickest way to turn her off from him. A man who is effective at winning the attraction of women already knows his worth; he isnt waiting for someone to tell him that he matters or is worth listening to. Instead, he commands respect with his presence and thus, women find him appealing and want to talk to him more.

Changing this for the Better:

When you stop to consider all of this, its no mystery why so many men have a hard time talking with women. They have become experts at telling themselves not to do it. Perhaps this comes from fear of rejection or a fear of change. Either way, this will keep you from getting experience and practice, which inevitably leads to the realization that it isnt hard or even a big deal. In fact, after you practice it will be very easy. Here are the steps for changing this.

• Learning how to Re-direct your Thoughts: What you need to do first is take control over your own mind and thoughts. Stop letting these negative, self-defeating ideas to cloud your judgment and hold you back from what you truly want. Learn, instead, to re-direct your thoughts to useful and positive things. When you focus on empowering thoughts and ideas, this will encourage you rather than scare you in regards to approaching women. As soon as you begin thinking that she is probably taken or that she appears to be too busy to talk, change that right away. Immediately say to yourself that she is probably sick of being bored by lame men and that you can change that by talking to her. Or rather than immediately thinking of her as above you or too good for you, instead start wondering what else she has to offer besides her good looks. Wonder whether she is also smart or funny, and then take it upon yourself to go talk to her and see.
