Beyond Rain of Gold is the incredible story behind the writing and publication of Victor Villaseors national bestseller Rain of Gold. It captures the difficult and courageous path the author followed to ensure that his familys saga would be published as the authentic, true account it is. The real power of this book lies in the sacred relationship that Villaseor has with his father, mother, and ancestors. In other words, Beyond Rain of Gold encompasses the magical messages that Villaseors indigenous ancestors told him are universal themes common to native peoples everywhere on this planet . . . and at one time we were all indigenous. This is an exciting, raw, and honest work, with events occurring that transcend the boundaries of what we normally call reality. And like Carlos Castanedas Don Juan trilogy, Beyond Rain of Gold explores altered states of consciousness, revealing the wisdom and magic inherent in everyday existence. This is a book that will make you see the world in an entirely different way, and which will stimulate your mind and emotions to create a New Earth way of thinking and being!

DEDICATION

This book is dedicated to Indigenous People
all over the world who still remember when we
were wild of heart, alive of soul, and knew how
to welcome each day as a miracle gifted to us by
Our Holy Creator. Maana es otro milagro de Dios!
Tomorrow is another miracle from God!

And back at one time, we were all Indigenous People the
whole world over, meaning that different from a civilized
plant, like a rosewhich you need to water and feed and
spray for bugs or it will diean indigenous plant, like
a weed, you give nothing yet it lives. You poison it and it
comes back the following year. You pour cement over it and
it breaks through the concrete, reaching for the sunlight.

So to the WILD, HAPPY HEART within all of us, I dedicate
this book! REJOICE! The time has come in human-story
when all of us are collectively returning to yesteryear, so
we can then leapfrog into our Future Past as strong and
happy and wild of heart and alive of soul AS A WEED,
REACHING FOR THE SUNLIGHT OF CREATION!

From LEON SHENANDOAH,
Speaker of the House (in Indian language, Tadodaho)
for the Six Nations of the Iroquois Confederacy:

Our Greatest Strength

I, myself, have no power. Its the people behind me who
have the power. Real power comes only from the Creator. Its
in His hands. But if youre asking about strength, not power,
then I can say that the greatest strength is gentleness.

Being Wild and Being Free

If you white men had never come here, this country would
still be like it was. It would be all pure here. You called it wild,
but it wasnt really wild, it was free. Animals arent wild, theyre
just free. And thats the way we all were. You called us wild,
you called us savages. But we were just free. If we were savages,
Columbus would have never gotten off this land alive.

CONTENTS

KEYS FOR
UNDERSTANDING

Beyond: On or to the far side of; farther on than; past. Farther on in time than; later than. Outside the reach, possibility, or understanding of. More or better than; in addition to; exceeding.

Rain of Gold: The name of the gold mine in Chihuahua, Mexico, Lluvia de Oro, which was purchased by an American mining company out of St. Louis, Missouri, and San Francisco, California, about 15 years before the Mexican Revolution of 1910. Also, Rain of Gold is the title of my first national bestseller, which, in part, is the story of my mother, Lupe Gomez Camargo, who was born in 1911 at that location; and Rain of Gold has also come to mean in my writing the Spirit of God raining down to us with miracles of gold in our everyday living.

2012: An ancient prediction primarily associated with the Mayan people, but also with many other indigenous tribes all over the globe, heralding a time when the alignment of the earth with the sun points to the center of our star system, moving us across an energy field that causes the planet to dance on its axis. For thousands of years, some indigenous tribes have been predicting that great destruction will occur at this time all over the globe. Other tribes predict that it is the end of the world as we know it and the beginning of an entirely new world. Still other tribes predict that we are simply moving from 26,000 years of male-based energy to 26,000 years of female-based energy, or another way to put it is that we are moving from 26,000 years of longing and unrest into 26,000 years of Collective Global harmony and peace. Only recently has modern science, with the help of computers, been able to acknowledge that this alignment of the earth with the sun does take place every 26,000 years, and this phenomenon will occur on December 21, 2012, which is actually the first day of 2013 according to the Mayan calendar.

Indigenous: Born, growing, or produced naturally in a region or country; native, innate, inherent, inborn.

Wisdom: Quality of being wise, power of judging rightly and following the soundest course of action, based on knowledge, experience, and understanding; good judgment; discretion; sagacity.

About capitalization: Since I started writing, I have used capital letters to emphasize the intense emotion that I have found to be true in my family and culture. I realize that in English, understatement is a very prominent style. This is not true of my cultural background. In fact, wild passion and unbridled emotional intensity, I have been led to believe, is what helps us open our hearts and souls so we can impregnate and expand reality into other realms and possibilities. You got to FEEL IT! my dad would always shout.
