L ike a really tasty meat loaf, many ingredients make up the inspiration and support of a book. My four men love me so much. They humor me when I share my ideas. They listen to my stories, eat my crazy concoctions from the kitchen, and laugh at my jokes. My husband and three sons, Tyler, Ryan, and Logan, make my life complete. Like the whipped cream on my ice cream, nothing would taste as delicious without them.
My parents, Dave and Karen, have always shared their love of food with me, from popcorn at the movies to grandma pancakes. They joined me in my love affair with flavor from the beginning, and I love them for this and many other reasons. My brother, Mark, and sister, Michele, think I am unstoppable. The recipe for this book started with a conversation with my dear friend Wini.
