MEET THE
SLEEPOVER
GIRLS!
Willow Marie Keys
Patient and kind, Willow is a wonderful confidante and friend. (Just ask her twin, Winston!) She is also a budding artist with creativity for miles. Willows Bohemian style suits her flower child within.
Maren Melissa Taylor
Maren is what youd call personality-plussassy, bursting with energy, and always ready with a sharp one-liner. Youll often catch Maren wearing a hoodie over a sports tee and jeans. An only child, Maren has adopted her friends as sisters.
Ashley Francesca Maggio
Ashley is the baby of a lively Italian family. This fashionista-turned-blogger is on top of every style trend via her blog, Magstar. Vivacious and mischievous, Ashley is rarely sighted without her beloved purse puppy, Coco.
Delaney Ann Brand
Delaneys smart, motivated, and always on the go! Youll usually spot low-maintenance Delaney in a ponytail and jeans (and dont forget her special charm bracelet, with charms to symbolize her Sleepover Girl buddies.)
LOCKING DIARY
Marens babysitting adventure was a disaster, thanks to Ace and Alice. A locking diary would have kept her secrets a little safer!
What Youll Need
- fabric
- hot glue
- small spiral-bound notebook
- chipboard
- scrapbook paper
- decoupage glue
- two 5-inch (12.7-centimeter) pieces of ribbon
- diary lock
- Measure and cut the fabric. It should be the same height as the notebook and about 4 inches (10 cm) wide. Glue the fabric to the notebook so it covers the spiral binding.
- Fold the ribbon in half. Glue to the notebooks front cover. The folded end should stick out about 1 inch (2.5 cm).
- Repeat step 2 on the back cover.
- Measure and cut the chipboard to cover the front and back of the notebook.
- Brush a thin layer of decoupage glue onto the chipboard. Cover with scrapbook paper. Use as many layers of glue and paper as desired.
- Once the chipboard is decorated to your liking, cover with a final coat of decoupage glue. Let dry completely.
- Glue chipboard to the front and back of the notebook.
- Use a lock wrapped through the ribbons to keep your thoughts safe.
LOCKER CHANDELIER
Delaneys ultra-organized locker is color-coordinated and decorated with a mini chandelier thats cute as can be.
What Youll Need
- mini lamp shade
- craft knife
- scalloped hole punch
- cardstock in different colors or patterns
- round hole punch
- craft glue
- string
- clear tape
- ribbon
- Cut away the lamp shade fabric with the craft knife. Discard the fabric. Set the lamp shade aside. The narrow end should be on the bottom.
- Use the scalloped hole punch to cut out shapes from the cardstock.
- Use the round hole punch to cut out circles of cardstock in contrasting colors.
- Center a round circle over a scalloped circle. Glue the circles together. Let dry completely.
- Flip the circles over in groups of six or seven. Lay a piece of string across the circles and tape into place. Tie the circles to the lamp shade. Continue stringing and tying until both the top and bottom ring of the lamp shade are covered.
